We were kept informed by Orkin about the process regularly. We had a yellow jacket nest inside a roof structure over our deck. My daughter must have brought German cockroaches back with her after a trip to Hawaii. Once we realized, it was too late. My wife was very clear that a professional needed to be called immediately. Orkin was exactly that. Customer service was informative, and understanding. An appointment was made within a couple days. When the exterminator arrived he explained what we had, how we probably got them, and the process they were going to take to get rid of them. We noticed right away the decrease in roaches. It took 3 appointments (1 per month) to be completely rid of the roaches. 3 months seems like a long time but they explained eggs are still hatching when the adults are gone. My wife and I are very happy with the service that we received from Orkin.

I called to set up services and the woman I spoke with was really nice and got us scheduled right away. I didn’t catch her name unfortunately but she was awesome! They had appointments the next business day. The technician, Trevor, was also really nice and professional. He showed up on time and ready to work. Our dog even thought he was really nice. He respected our children’s play area. And he asked me what I would like which was awesome compared to other companies I have hired before. I saw he was very thorough outside, too. A couple of spots outside were no longer there and I didn’t have to show him where they were. Glad I called them!

I've been a customer for about 6 years, and usually have no problems. The last two times I had routine service being performed, they forgot to give me any notice that they were coming by until they pulled into my driveway. I was at work and could not let them in, so I only got half of it. This time I needed to call them in early due to an ant swarm near my house in the back yard, and the date they said they were scheduled for was 3 months after the prior service date - I'm supposed to get service every 2 months. Thankfully they scheduled me for just a few days out (after complaining that they had to hurry and leave the office in 2 minutes - it was 12:28pm, is this a one-person service center??), for an "anytime" appointment. I agreed and sat around the ENTIRE DAY (my only day off) waiting for them to come, which they did not. I called again the next day to complain and get a new appointment. They scheduled me for a 2 hour window the following day (thankfully), and the tech actually showed up and did a great job. I'm happy with the work they do when they finally get to my house, but the customer service and scheduling end of things is a real pain to deal with.
