It may seem like I just went through and tapped all options to give the worst rating possible, and while that is true the only reason being is that it is accurate. Myself and my roommates have paid orkin to come out over the past 6 months to provide pest control services inside and out. Initially we had to call them back to even service the exterior, then we had to call them back for our secondary service inside. This past week we were supposed to have our 3rd treatment inside and out, with no noticeable changes to the exterior and no interior work done. It was noted by a roommate they (roommate) had requested a different date for the interior work, as no one was home on that time, but that exterior work should be completed. With a mass of spider webs all over the front and rear of the home still 5 days later, calling into Orkin and finding that they reported the exterior work as completed has seriously pissed me off to the point I will decide to tackle any future pest control myself rather than be scammed and have my money stolen without service by Orkin.

The Orkin representative, Frank, was very professional and thorough. He arrived on time as promised, and determined that it was a large and dangerous hornets nest in the tree by our drive-way. He outlined precisely how he would deal with it as well as safety precautions we needed to follow. His manner was professional and reassuring. I was very happy with prompt response and quick resoltion from Orkin and would highly recommend the firm for pest control

Orkin service technicians have always shown up reliably at the appropriate inspection times. At my most recent inspection the technician (Mike) took the added time and effort to almost completely rebuild my antiquated system. He replaced all of the old and buried Centricon stations with the most recent versions. He apologized that it had not been maintained as it should have been since many of the old stations were so buried they couldn’t be read by the meter reader. It was a very hot sunny day and he could have easily let it slide but instead chose integrity and pride of workmanship. Much gratitude Mike for a job well done!

Both the inspector and exterminator were courteous, on time, knowledgeable, and professional. The service was extremely responsive, worked with my schedule, used my preferred method of contact, and offered multiple payment options. The service was expensive as compared to online estimations for price in my area, however I did not have to take off work saving me the cost of lost wages and were considerate as to when in the time block was better for me, the company has strong brand recognition, and they were able to address my needs immediately after a swarm was detected, saving me from damage occurring while I waited for service.

The technicians are rushing through the job too quickly so are missing details such as spiderwebs and overhangs that have not been cleared for several months. I have requested that the technician call when they are close but this does not occur and the email notification system they use is so delayed so by the time we receive that notice that a tech is on the way, he has already come and left the property. I don’t believe that he can properly do a good job in that short a period of time. Even when we had a then I don’t believe that he can properly do a good job in that short a period of time. Even when we had an inspection scheduled the tech left without providing anyone was an off day. When I got the inspection report, all it said was inspection complete. This is hardly the level of service I should be receiving for the amount of money I am being charged. I have called the main office to complain about this several times, but apparently nothing can be done as I’ve seen. No improvement and unfortunately I am stuck in a contract until next year. Don’t use this company!

Called and asked Orkin to come out had seen multiple baby mice in the condo. They completely missed the 1st appt but the regional manager called me and they showed on time for the 2nd. Tech was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. Felt super comfortable having him in my home alone. The only thing that bothers me was that the only sent a tech. He wa there 3 minutes before he told me my job needed a home inspector since there were multiple mice seen. I told them that at the initial phone consultation. I should not have to wait for another appointment to get the real job done. I took time off of my job for no reason. Now I have take take more time off for an inspection guy to come. So the tech who came was great and not his fault the appt was not staffed correctly. 10 for the I, 2 for scheduling.

Frank, the Orkin tech does a great job. Not only does he spray comprehensively but also takes the time to point out other improvements I can make where pipes come in and out of my condo to keep pests out. Other condos in my building have roaches but since I've had Orkin, I've not had any.

Dont use them. Go with Teminix. We had them come in for a mouse problem and they said we need to do insulation to get rid of it. Over $5000 and 2 weeks later we see a mouse. When I called, they told me we need to get a pest control contract to take care of it. Terminix had guaranteed no more mice and said they'd come out free of charge which I thought was the same with Orkin, but I guess not. So what was the point in getting insulation? A bunch of money wasted.
