I don’t usually write reviews, however I feel like Taylor Strom deserves to be recognized. Services with Orkin have never really came easy only because I have a busy schedule with work and many other things. I’m not always able to be around so I was called last week by my regular technician while I was at work asking if they can come now, I stated I have an appointment for the following week which was Wednesday and he asked if he could still do the outside, which was fine with me, but I did ask that I keep the appointment for next Wednesday because that was the only day that I could do for the inside service because that’s when I’ll be home. Fast-forward to yesterday, Wednesday I haven’t heard anything about confirming my appointment so I decided to call around 1 or 2. I was placed on hold and had to even be called back because I guess my appointment was kind of forgot about so they had to find a technician to come out because I couldn’t do Saturday like they had asked. Long story short Taylor was sent to do my service a service that I’m told he doesn’t normally do however, he knocked it out of the park. He was so kind answered any questions I had and cared about my concerns which really impressed me. Normally I get a tech that doesn’t really talk much and it leaves me nervous to even ask any questions or address my concerns. Taylor was very thorough with my treatment! I was so happy and beyond thankful he could make the extra stop to help keep my appointment for yesterday and not have to reschedule like they asked. I hope in the future I am able to request him for my services! Thank you again, Taylor!

Very unhappy! Visited our home, no call, text or email advising they were coming. We were away in SC, taking care of our son after his surgery. Property has fenced and locked backyard. Neighbor watching our property called to advise two men were walking on the side of the house appearing to be looking at our heat pump and our fence. Neighbor could not see our driveway to determine who was there. We were just about to call the police. Luckily I called several businesses that might have a reason to be on property. All, including Orkin, have been advised they must speak with me by phone or text to get my verbal approval as we need to be home to give them access to the backyard. Their file is supposed to be so noted. Orkin confirmed their people had been there and said we should have received an email. We didn't and no verbal approval was given!

Carlos respectfully listened to our concerns, and then took corrective action as necessary. He was articulate and knew the appropriate questions to ask. We wished that he had had a step ladder to look around the attic for mice and other animals. We also had to ask to have the internal house sprayed. We were interested in doing a complete protective service the first time, and felt that should have been part of their service protocol.
