I had a bad experience with termites eating the trim in my front closet unbeknownst to me until late. I had what looked like ant hills on my front porch; spider webs with a gazillion wings in them. A year ago I summoned Terminix. The salesman did a thorough inspection as I walked my property with him. He was very knowledgeable! He took his time to show and tell me the damages the termites had already done. He wasnt just doing a sales pitch. This Spring and Summer the results were excellent! I love that they sent a service guy to check the traps just before winter. Terminix is very reasonable with monthly payments. After a year of service the monthly amount goes down too! I certainly highly recommend this company.😃

Terminex doesn't even deserve a 1 Star rating with me. I couldn't be more frustrated and disappointed in this company and I would NEVER recommend them to friends or family, nor anyone else . Their customer service and follow-up care is extremely terrible . My home in Ohio was treated for subterranean and Formosan termites in 2012 and at that time they sold me their warranty plan. You know - ""The Terminix It Guarantee means that if pests come back, so do we - to re-treat at no additional cost. No excuses, just a commitment to care for your home like it's our own with protection you can trust.!"" I've maintained that yearly contract faithfully which has cost me more than $3300, above the initial $1600 liquid defense treatment. I was told during an unscheduled routine annual inspection in 2024 that there was evidence of new termite activity within my home so in-ground bait traps would be recommended. Nobody from Terminex followed up with that recommendation. After numerous attempted phone calls leaving messages that nobody returned, the same inspector showed up at my door unannounced with a small spray can of foam wanting in my house. He was very rude and unable to answer any questions that I had to explain the specific treatment plan that was different than what I was told was needed. I sent him on his way and again tried numerous times to reach customer service, branch manager, anyone. No one returned my calls . This same inspector then showed up once again unannounced just to do an outside inspection , he was very rude and unkind then left. A second team returned at a later date , again unannounced, with that same little spray can. I'll have to say these guys were much more knowledgeable and kind so I let them in my house to the basement where they treated around a window and top of a small supporting beam. They too recommended the bait traps but once again no follow-up. Fast forward to 2025 a new employee came unannounced to my door to inspect , totally clueless to any of my treatment history and their own guarantee. Said he would relay my concerns to his manager. Another inspector then to my home and at least he called prior to schedule a time. I explained this home's history and presented a copy of my warranty . He was polite and many apologies and excuses were given for the poor customer service and assured me his branch manager Roger Stewart in Columbus would be calling me. That was May 2025 and to date no follow-up, despite my attempts to call. I feel Terminex has taken advantage of my trust and my money and has left my home unprotected. I understand they cannot guarantee to permanently eliminate these termites but I trusted and paid them annually to manage and control them. After all they claim to be "experts" . I really don't know where to go from here but they want me to pay for another year of warranty. At minimum I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY TO TREAT YOUR HOME!!
