I am...somewhat satisfied with Orkin? The actual exterminators that come out seem fine and I didn't have an issue with them personally. But here's why my experience left me honestly kinda ticked off We had some yellow jackets make a home in two different parts of the exterior of our house. One wad the rear inside of the porch light (in the brick behind the light kind of in the wall) and one in a tiny hole in our siding on the second floor of our house. I called the main number and got a sales person which is to be expected. I explained the entire situation. I got this whole speech about all of the great things the person coming out was going to do. The person was going to come out with a ladder and treat both areas to kill the yellow jackets, then inspect the entire property for any other items or areas that could be attracting pests. They were going to treat these areas specifically and then spray the entire perimeter of my property and all of our overhangs on our house to make sure everything is gone and pest free. Was roughly $400 but for everything I was advertised I decided to go with it. This all sounded great so I agreed to it. Fast forward to the service day. A guy shows up and meets me. He seems nice and professional. He grabs a can of handheld foaming spray and walks to my backyard and sticks it behind the light and foams it out and says he's done. Not even 5 minutes into the service call. At this point I ask about the other nest on the second floor and the guy says he doesn't have a ladder so he can't get up there and I'd have to schedule another appointment. I was like...okay...? So then I asked about the inspection and perimeter and overhand spray they were supposed to perform and he said it wasn't on his work order. So I pushed back and said well that is what I was sold and he said that he's not doing it because it wasn't on his work order and we could have whoever comes out next time with that ladder to go through that with us. So he leaves and that's that. A day or two later my wife calls the main number again and explains everything that happened and how we need someone to come out with a ladder and then explains how we also hadn't gotten the other advertised services and tells our story up to that point. The girl on the phone acts like she hadn't even listened to anything past needing someone with a ladder and goes "...so you need someone to come out with a ladder?". My wife just says yes and wraps up the call and we decided we'd just have to see what happens when the next guy shows up. Fast forward to service day number two. A different guy shows up with a ladder. He posts it up and looks about 6 or 10 feet away from where they were getting in. He proceeds to just take the spray and sprayed the outside of the opening with some spray. He didn't go up on that part of the roof and go to the opening (which would have been physically possible because last year when we got our gutters done the guy was right up there). Basically I could have gone to the grocery store and gotten the same foaming stuff and stood there and done the same thing. I paid this money because I wanted an exterminator to actually get to the spot and treat it *better* than I could have done with a $5 can of spray from 10 feet away. So then this guy tries to leave too. We pushed back and said look we were sold this inspection and treatment and at least this gentleman agreed to it and walked around and treated our property. But he showed us his work order and for the entire story we told dispatch TWICE all the work order said was something like "bring ladder to kill yellow jackets". So basically we got charged (about) $400 for something that was supposed to be done professionally and better than an average person would have been able to do as well as some other high quality services and all we got was a couple of (nice and professional) guys that showed up with some bug spray same as i would have done and weren't even aware they were supposed to do anything else (and one time refused to do so)

The Orkin Tech who comes out for inspection of our facility on a monthly basis is always professional, and gives us feedback on what was done and give us suggestions on what we could do if a problem persists. We have never asked a question that they were not able to answer will get back to us in a timely manner. Customer Service, of course, is above par.

From the moment I called until the moment they first came to spray, the service was amazing. The customer service rep who made the appointment was very eager to help me ASAP. When they came out to spray, I sensed a personal experience was about to happen. He was very attentive and explained how it worked and when I didn’t have to worry about the spray. He said if I have any issues, he would be back out to help me. I am happy I chose them and would recommend.

Brian has been the tech coming out to do our tick service. He’s been wonderful and very helpful in deciding what to do. Colleen (I how that’s her name) came out to do a termite inspection and give us information on whether or not to use the service. She was lovely as well. Always good customer over the phone, and they communicate well.

Orkin was super helpful and friendly. I called for a quote in the morning hoping to set up a consultation/first service and they were able to schedule me same day. The specialist on the phone walked me through the process and answered all my questions. Marcus was my service pro and was super friendly and answered all additional questions that I had. He did my preventative service with extreme care.

Been using Orkin for over 15 years. Have always been happy with service. As you know a company is only as good as its people and I am happy to say that everyone I deal with on the phone at the local office and the technician that comes to my house is very professional and pleasant. Brian is always on time for the service and so professional. He is a family man and makes suggestions to keep my family safe and prospected from pests. He is prompt in his work and provides you with an opportunity at the beginning to make whatever requests that you have. He was able to oblige my request to have the outside of my house treated today because my small child was upstairs asleep. I always prefer service when she is at school because of her asthma.

I received my keys from my new apartment yesterday 1/27/23 and found several dead "friends" in my kitchen. Luckily, my furniture was not arriving for a few more days so I called Orkin on the morning of 1/28/23, and they came out that day. My tech Marcus was prompt, professional and very helpful in giving me tips on how to discourage insects from wanting to enter my apartment, as well as what I can do on my own to kill what may be hiding. Marcus set traps, bait, and sprayed the entire perimeter of my apartment, all while explaining everything that he was doing along the way. As of right now I have a plan set up with Orkin to come out in another 30 days for a follow-up and then bi-monthly thereafter for the year. Fingers crossed I can keep things at bay until my lease is up next year and I can either purchase a home or find another apartment.
