They do not show up when they’re needed. We have had Terminix for a couple years and the service has been just okay. We pay quarterly and they are supposed to come out if there are any issues. We called 2 weeks ago for service and we have now waited for a tech on 3 different days this week and no one showed up. No apology, no reason just no shows. We have canceled our service and are going with a locally owned company. Just be cautious when using this company - they are big and do not seem to care at all about customer service.

Do NOT do service with Terminix if you're in the Gaithersburg area. Their local office is AWFUL. I got an Exclusion service with them a few years ago for mice. Still would get mice once in a while. They finally said there was nothing more they could offer. So I cancelled them. I cancelled this service MONTHS ago and had to call twice to get this done. And now, they've sent me a notice saying I owe them payment for the Exclusion service that i NO LONGER HAVE. It doesn't even show up on my online account! The notice also says that if I don't pay they will send me to collections agency. I chatted with an agent who says this is a system error on their part, but she doesn't know what they are doing to fix it and can't guarantee that I won't be sent to a collections agency for an amount i DO NOT owe. The only good thing about this office is David Dowdy who does our quarterly pest control. He is the ONLY reason I still have any service contract with Terminix. If I was to rate him alone, he'd get 5 stars.

Archie is the best! He’s very responsive when we have a problem. He’s knowledgeable and prompt and professional. He goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Give this guy a raise! This may sound like a lot but it’s true. Good customer service is hard to find.

Archie came out to remove a very large wasp nest. He called me before the service to ensure he had the appropriate equipment and to let me know he was on the way. He was kept me informed of what he was doing and improvised as to not drive on my grass! After removing the nest he ensured he had the queen and tried to capture and remove as many flying wasps as he could. Was a fantastic service.

I have been a customer of Terminix for a few years now (pest control and mosquito service). I have seen that the technician assigned to your home/neighborhood can make a big difference. Oliver has been an almost consistent presence at my home (there was a time someone else was assigned to service our property). I love his pleasant demeanor. He always does a great job with communicating ahead of, during, and after his visit. And I have had little reason to request a do-over/return visit in between scheduled services.

I have had the pleasure of using Terminix for our home as well as when we downsized to our Condo. I have always had great service. My only comment is I would like to continue with the same service representative (David Dowdy) rather than different ones each service month. I know David and trust him. We have a secure access building and I need to be home for your service people since I cannot provide security codes to all. I can grant limited access to one I trust .
