I called Orkin because I was battling a pretty extreme rodent problem. I explained to them that I didn’t think my problem was containable at the moment due to my pets, and told them I’d already been securing all food sources and cleaning up, that I’d been using catch and release traps, doing all I could to mitigate the problem. They ASSSURED me that their services would be the solution and it was guaranteed. So I paid $200 for them to place 15 traps and put steel wool in one crack. I waited two full weeks and not one single mouse was trapped in their traps. During that time I’d caught 6 in the ones I’d placed. I called Orkin to cancel future services and request a refund, which they denied. A guaranteed $200 solution that didn’t work at all and turns out wasn’t really guaranteed at all. Canton Ohio.

I've had Orkin for the past year and a half and I must say I'm very happy with their service and the techs that come to my home. They send reminders, let you know when they are on the way and when they arrive. They are very detailed. They solve all pest problems and listen to any issues we have. I find their pricing fair. Lately I've had several "organic" pest control companies stopping to sell me their service and it's double what I'm paying. No thank you. I'm sticking with Orkin!!

I’m not one to leave a review especially a negative one - in fact I never have. This is not directed at either of the technicians scheduled for my home. This is all the call service and I’m beyond frustrated. They explicitly stated it was NOT a contract for a year multiple times. I repeated asked if it was a contract and it was told to me if I opted out of reoccurring services after the initial fee of $294, I would loose the orkin guarantee and that’s it. Told I could have a one time service inside and out with yard treatment and the open to opt out of reoccurring treatments after that. Tech arrived and stated that is not at all the truth and that the call service people keep misleading customers. Seems from their own people this is a reoccurring problem. Would never recommend this company due to that alone. I had previously heard great things about Orkin that’s why I gave them a shot. Maybe it was a fluke and I’m just one who had a negative experience.

My technician was Noah out of the Akron branch. He took the time to help redesign my service plan to make it what I wanted. He was through in his explanation of the service itself . I feel that Noah took the necessary time to do the job properly. I am really impressed. Thank you
