When did Orkin decide to stop being a customer friendly company? Our family has been a customer with Orkin for well over 19 years so imagine my surprise when I called last week and it was not Sally or Lameka that answered, it was a Call Center. The recording stated: "Currently your wait time is greater than 4 minutes." I had a choice of staying on hold or leaving a message. After waiting for more than 24 minutes for someone to answer, I hung up. Later in the afternoon, I called and once again the same recording of telling me, “Currently your wait time is greater than 4 minutes”, which turned into 20 minutes before someone answered. I gave the information of our account to the woman that answered the phone. My question to her was, does Orkin have a new address for it was not the same address as previous years? Just wanting to be sure payment was going to the correct place. The person stated: "I don't have access to that information, but I can have someone from the office call you back." I asked if Sally or Lameka could help me and that is when the woman said “We are the Call Center, all we do is relay the message. Someone should contact you with your answer. Well, here we are 3 days later and no answer. I was able to verify the correct address by digging around. So, my question to the Management team is this, why mess up a good thing? Sally and Lameka at the Wylie Branch are always on the top of their game and ready to assist. The are both amazing assets to Orkin. So now I have to contact a Call Center and wait days before I can get an answer or even have a technician to come out? Not happy with the path your company has chosen with using a Call Center Service.

Rude and unprofessional staff. Poor service and wouldn’t stay true to words. We selected insect control and mosquito control service. They came to first check if they could do it. They agreed and did service. We still saw lots of mosquitoes so I called them again. They came to check and said oh there were pollinators plants so they couldn’t really do much about it?? So what was the point agreeing to do mosquito control and charging?? I said ok then cancel the service!! They have money back guarantee, so refund charges?. I was told by frontdesk manager was out two weeks and would do when he comes back. Two weeks forward, no one contacted, I called again and was told “I didn’t decide for manager to come, so they closed account??” Which I didn’t. So I said to let me talk to manager. I was told manager was still out and would call when back?? I will be talking to my bank about it. Talked very rudely and extremely unprofessional! DONT RECOMMEND!! Update: PLEASE don’t post generic message as a reply. I did call on that number and asked to talk to someone else because person who answered was the one who did all above conversation. And he said no one else is there and manager is out. Don’t pretend to resolve the issue!
