This was our first treatment by Orkin. We're waiting to see the results, but Mark was on time and very informative, friendly, and professional. We feel we made a good choice. Update: We required a second treatment for drain flies and spiders. We're seeing less of them after the second treatment, but I'm sure nothing is 100%. They will come out and retreat free anytime between treatments.

I was initially very happy with Orkin’s product and customer service during my first six months with them. However, things went downhill when I started dealing with a springtail infestation. To their credit, the technicians were prompt, courteous, and genuinely tried their best to treat the area during multiple follow-up visits. The actual issue lies in the products they chose to use. Over several visits, they applied Lambda-Cyhalothrin, Deltamethrin, Bifenthrin, Pyriproxyfen, and Novaluron—none of which are actually labeled for springtails. Unsurprisingly, the treatments failed. When I canceled the service and requested a refund under their advertised "Satisfaction Guarantee," the local branch manager refused. They claimed the ongoing springtail issue was due to "moisture problems" on my property, not their service or products. *****Buyer beware*****: Do not rely on Orkin's money-back guarantee. They will simply find an environmental excuse to avoid refunding your money when their treatments fail. As proof that Orkin was just making excuses, I hired a competitor who resolved the springtail issue immediately—even with the exact same moisture conditions Orkin tried to blame.

Perhaps there was a time that this was a top tier company back when the Orkin Man commercials were thriving but sadly they have stooped to an all time low. The front end Sales are friendly; however, after the 1st payment is taken and the 1st treatment is done your a forgotten number. They used to pride themselves on making you feel taken care of with customer service at the top of their mission statement. Unfortunately each rep you speak to feels under stress or coached by someone under stress. My rep instructed that they would follow up on our mice problem in 2 weeks and check the traps - A Month and a half went by with no call or scheduled service(They got their money and forgot the follow up) I had to call them and have them schedule a date to come back and check the month and half old traps/bate - they couldn't fit me into their schedule until the following week. When the rep came out, they changed out the bate and talked to me about random life. Then I get billed for 2months. I call in to ask for a manager 3 times and they told me they are very busy and I would have to get a call back. Then I get a call about the bill possibly going into collections. So instead of a manager resolving the issue it get's sent to collections - I then pay it - because of credit of course and I get a call from the admin from the Wylie location. He then proceeds to tell me the breakdown of the bill and seems very argumentive with any questions I had. The general feel of the conversation was to prove that their bill was correct instead of pride customer service 1st. In a nutshell it's unfortunate that a household name pest control has forgotten themself and is now just trying to hold on to every dollar it can.

Initial inspection and both men were very friendly and knowledgeable about termites and their life systems, prices that would be involved and explained fully and comprehensively. The man that came and did the work was professional and was very systematic in how he worked. He had many years of experience and appeared to do a very thorough job. I called about a warranty issue and needed to schedule a service call. I called 3 times and was told that I would get a call back but never got one. I finally got a visit scheduled and they never showed up. I called to speak to a manager and they put me on hold and hung up. Complete waste of time and it looks like they won't stand behind their warranty.

I have not had a good experience with orkin. I paid close to $500 and saw no relief from some American roach problems that we were having. I expressed concern and got zero response. quiten frustrating. I will be trying to contact higher level emplyees to understand what the real issue is here. because this was strange.
