Thank you Orkin! Your technician, Diego came out to spray for German Cockroaches and he made it a great experience. I called Orkin with questions and Diego returned my call, answered all of my questions and explained that the treatment is safe after it dries. Diego called me when he was on the way and when he arrived. Before the job, Diego helped move things in order to access the baseboards. He spayed the whole apartment in less than a half hour. Diego handled the job professionally and efficiently!

⭐️ 1 Star — Complete Scam The initial appointment with Orkin was fine, but the follow-up with their so-called “expert” was an absolute scam. This guy came in acting like he found a massive problem in our crawl space, claiming it was “infested and nested” with rodents. He completely freaked us out. After reviewing the photos he took, I realized he had edited and added images that weren’t even from our house. When I inspected the space myself, there was nothing—no signs of rodents, nests, or droppings. He was clearly banking on us not checking for ourselves. Total dishonesty and fear tactics. We will never do business with Orkin again. Switched to Smithereen, and they actually gave us an honest, professional assessment. Take your business to Smithereen instead. Don’t get scammed.

Orkin Pest control technician came today and checked and treated for spiders And ants in our house, bedrooms and garage. He left traps and will return in a month. Jose was polite and helpful. He did a great job.

I had a very horrible experience with Orkin and cannot recommend them after what I went through. In June I had a scheduled service was a complete no-show — no call, no update, nothing. I had to follow up myself to even find out what happened. For my next appointment in August , I received both a text and email confirmation. The window was between 10 AM and 12 PM. By 12, no one had arrived, so I called. I spoke with someone named Philip, who said a technician should be coming soon. By 1 PM, still no one — I called again, and only then was I told that they hadn’t even scheduled a tech for my service. Why wasn’t I told that during the first call? They then rescheduled me for between 2–3 PM. Again, I got text and email confirmations… and again, no one ever showed. By 5:40 PM I was still told to “keep waiting.” This is absolutely unacceptable. almost 10 hours of waiting, I honestly gave up and didn’t even call again. I have screen shots of my schedule appointments for that day and all the calls I made. The only helpful person I spoke with was Michelle, who at least tried to assist me — but ultimately, even her efforts didn’t change the outcome. I wasted an entire day, received no service, and was constantly misled. The way customer/technician handled this situation was completely unprofessional. Their communication, scheduling, and follow-through were all a mess. I expected more from a well-known company like this, and I’m beyond disappointed.

I contacted Orkin to ask for an inspection of the yard at my new home. The customer service number was not easy to navigate to get to a live person. It took several calls to reach a live person and once there "Nina" was not able to answer basic questions but was able to provide a quote for services. Nina asked how many bedrooms and how many bathrooms the house had. When I told her that I was only interested in exterior service she stated that she was only asking questions that would help determine the service needs. I again told her exterior only. She then offered a schedule of prices and said they would not come out and inspect the property unless I signed a contract for ongoing services. Nina asked what type of issues we were having. I explained that there were ants on the patio and some small mites along the sitting wall. Nina wanted to know what kind of ants I saw. When I explained that I didn't know what kind they were and asked for a technician to give me an assessment, she got exasperated, and told me she was only trying to get information to help their tech. She then offered a schedule of prices and said they would not come out and inspect the property unless I signed a contract for ongoing services. During the call I could hear dogs barking in the background. Clearly Nina had minimal experience answering questions or explaining Orkin services. I had a much more positive experience with Terminix

Let the buyer beware. They don’t care if they get rid of your pest problem. They just come, overcharge and don’t ever get to the root of your problems so you can use them for life. I would see bugs everywhere! He’d just say he’s sorry and never do anything different? I got sticky boards, Hot Shot liquid bait and Raid Perimeter spray. I started spraying myself and got more results in one month than they have for years! This is a scam and the technicians are poorly trained and not qualified to do the work. They put band aids on infestations. Terrible
