I had service for about a year. Their service was terrible. They consistently messed up or canceled appointments or did not show up. They came, never came to my door, and I have cameras so I would know- my husband almost always home week days wfh. I told them to always ring the doorbell. They never did. They keep trying to charge me for services that were not completed. They had my name wrong on the account for over 6 months. They came for services that I did not request like outdoor pest spraying and rodent control. Absolutely frustrating experience. This company is terrible.

Beware beware. This was a total scam. All they did was lay sticky traps. When told when I signed up I could stop the service at anytime and receive a reimbursement of my last payment. When I tried to cancel I was told I couldn’t because I had a year contract n I would have to talk to management. Talked to management not only could I not get a refund but was told I owed them a payment. Total scammers not worth it at all.

These people are a nightmare to work with. They scheduled the initial date TWO WEEKS out, came and only had an inspection and did nothing, assured us they'd be back the next day and didn't even contact us again for another week. Horribly unprofessional.

Should’ve believed the reviews. Scheduled an appointment for rodent abatement with an 8-10am window. No word from Orkin by 9:50, so I called. The operator claimed the technician was pulling up. No technician by 10:30, so I called and cancelled. Technician called at 11:45 to say he was behind and I’m next, and that Orkin had scheduled him for multiple appointments in the 8-10am window. Called him back and asked if he had heard from the operator about the cancellation I lobbed in more than an hour earlier, and he had not. I wouldn’t waste your time. I thought going with the name brand would ensure promptness and communication, but this was a clueless operation FWIW, not placing fault with the technician, he was clearly over-scheduled and the schedulers/operators were not communicating.

Don’t use Orkin, but if you do- at least get your quote and terms in WRITING. I had my first service last week ($189 initial cost) to address outdoor spiders after being assured that I could go into a “seasonal hold” for the rest of the fall/winter and resume services for the regular $110 in the spring. I just tried to start the seasonal hold but was told by a local representative that I received incorrect information from their corporate office in Atlanta. Since when is a local office not accountable for what their own corporate office says to make the sale? I politely asked to speak to a manager and the call was disconnected shortly thereafter. No call back. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone shows up in a couple of months so they can bill me again so I will be cancelling and replacing my credit card.

Orkin was incompetent in finding and identifying bed bugs. Orkin sent out three techs including the dog but failed to find anything. My wife showed multiple techs her bed bug bites and told Orkin that a doctor said it was bed bugs but the techs did not believe us. Eventually, we caught a bed bug and showed it to the Orkin techs who denied it was a bed bug and misidentified it as a cockroach. Orkin finally took the bed bug that we caught on our own to their office and confirmed it was a bed bug. Despite their incompetence and letting us live with bed bugs for almost a month, Orkin didn’t offer any discount on the expensive treatment.

The technicians are very nice that come out but what can they do when managers tell them to keep putting feeders & food for mice when they arnt touching anything since installing in October.( its feb) Spoke to manager & he forget to put in notes what he told me when I called to cancel. Now he is unavailable to speak to. This feels like a scam. They want to keep schedule monthly appointments for what idk but wanna charge me for nothing. No response from manager. Beware

We hired Orkin to take care of our mouse problem and they promised results if the pest problem was not taken care of after two visits, and we would get a refund for the second visit. We had spotted a small mouse in the kitchen and had purchased black glue traps at Home Depot, and placed a piece of cracker while leaving them out. When the DIY traps didn't catch anything, we called Orkin and the first exterminator came in and set up his own glue traps and other traps. Several weeks passed, we kept checking Orkin's mouse traps, and found nothing. The second exterminator came along, and was of little or no help, citing big gaps under the doors as the real problem and just gave us extra glue traps. Finally, a third and different exterminator visited, and he was by far the most skilled and knowledgeable. He checked the door gaps and said they were not an issue, and then found a dead mouse under the sink on one of our Home Depot traps with the cracker; he said it must have died recently because it didn't smell foul, which is why no one had noticed it until that moment. The third exterminator was by far the best, checking everywhere unlike the second, and explaining mouse behavior. Nevertheless, Orkin's traps from the first two exterminators never solved the issue, and when we notified them of the fact, the person we spoke to on the phone said Orkin had said no such thing regarding refund for the second visit. Why would Orkin go back on their word? The initial visits we paid them, in excess of $250 did not catch any mice, our own DIY trap from Home Depot did. The lack of efficiency and honesty on their part paints them as a dishonest company, and not one I would recommend to anyone, by word or mouth or on social media. Very disappointed and discouraged to seek "professional help." Going to just buy traps at Home Depot and take care of the problem ourselves.
