We have had Orkin for maybe 5 years or a little less. We moved into a home that we found out later was infested with German Cockroaches. We have paid a few thousand dollars in treatments to no avail. A little hit here or there but they continued to show up. Fast forward to now and the roaches are gone. Not because of Orkin but because I decided to take matter into my own hands and cancel Orkin. I canceled back in December and got a bill (no work was done during that billing cycle) and they sent my account to collections for $55. This is after I was told the manager would take care of it. NOPE! Like I said...thousands of dollars and tips for the person coming out every time and just a scratch on the issue and never a solution to the issue. I will never recommend.

They no showed for the follow up two different times! We had arranged to have the day off and everything, waited for hours. Then after calling them and telling them to remove our name from their client list, 2 weeks later they have the audacity to show up at our doorstep. Terrible. We ended up having to do a whole new set of treatments with a different exterminator.

Termite inspector, as usual was excellent. Company, however, no longer covers for damage to home as a result of termite damage. This is bad business, and this makes a termite bond useless. What is the purpose to have a termite bond if there is no coverage if there is damage to the home as a result of termites. Company when I called them told me that this is a corporate thing and that most other termite coverage companies are doing this as well. I found this to be false as I called another big name, termite coverage bond company, and they cover up to $300,000 worth of damage as a result of termites. they also wanted me to pay for $2000 worth of re-treatment for termites with bait traps which would be fine if they still covered repair cost if there’s any damage as a result of termites. This makes me think that they are not confident in their termite treatments in the prevention of damage or infestation. Thank you for your service up to this point Orkin. I will find a new company to bond my home.
