Awful customer service - haven’t heard back from Orkin in nearly a week! Paid for some EXPENSIVE mice prevention. Doesn’t seem to be working. Orkin is now blowing us off. Multiple employees copied on their emails and neither of them are replying.

Orkin, as a national brand, should be more organized and provide clear steps on what to expect throughout the course of treatment. The technician who came out didn’t appear knowledgeable about what they were doing and looked unprofessional, even showing up with their fly open. I had to press them for clarification on the next steps. I also had to call myself to confirm the follow-up appointment because no email or text was sent as promised. When I called, they told me they would contact me within three days of the next appointment—but people have jobs and travel schedules. Why not simply call to confirm a time that actually works?

My service with Orkin was a positive experience. They were able to come out to my house the same day i called. The gentleman was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He took time to answer my questions.

I called Orkin to take care of a Bat problem i was having. They responded very quickly and that combined with their good reviews is why i decided to go with them. Big mistake. Very unprofessional company, they were 4 hours late without any communication and when they showed up the crew didn't know what they were supposed to be doing and argued with me when i corrected them. After they figured out what they were supposed to be doing I went inside to let them work only to look out my window a few minutes later to see them urinating on my garage. I went out and asked them to leave and when I spoke to the manager he tried to tell me it wasn't a big deal. After letting him know that I was upset he said if I wanted to go ahead with the work he would do something about the quoted price. I agreed as long as it wasn't the same guys. The work was completed and I got a bill for full price. I won't be calling Orkin again.

Orkin arrived on time with a 15 minute warning. Miranda was prepared, professional and very friendly. She explained her treatments and why they were being used. She was efficient and returned to report her findings. She was non- invasive and knowledgeable. I couldn’t have been more pleased. Great job!!

For our first couple appointments, there was some technology glitches and a few other glitches that made scheduling really tricky, but our Orkin guy Greg went above and beyond his duties in sending me confirmation text messages and honing in on exactly what time was ideal for me to meet with him For our scheduled appointments. Greg was professional and very informative and I am extremely grateful for his dedication and service. I have no idea what Greg gets paid, but he definitely deserves a raise. Thank you again.

Ridiculous - Orkin are not catching the mice - it’s been 8 months - expect to wait sometimes a week for them to fit you into their schedule. Typically they come over and put 4 traps down and leave - traps are like the ones you buy at a hardware store for a $1.50 Note the house is very tidy with no food laying around etc. Despite the inspector telling us where the mice are coming in and then we repair the spot - the mice are still coming in, so that’s not working why they can’t find the opening is beyond me. So I end up setting more traps and disposing of the rodents myself, because I can’t have the dead rodents sitting around for days - it’s not working - they need to come up with another plan, at this rate it’s not worth a $1,000 a year.

I scheduled an appointment with orkin. The day of our scheduled appointment I’m waiting and waiting, and then I get a text saying you have not scheduled your appointment yet call this number to do so. So I called the number and she said yeah it looks like we didn’t have anyone in that area today but I can set something up for you. So they did not call or notify me to cancel. First problem. Second problem; on the day of the re-scheduled appointment the guy called and said he was coming and he said did they tell you how to prep for the appointment? I said no. He said wow. The prep included packing up our kitchen as if we were moving out. We had company coming that evening which is why I scheduled the appointment earlier in the week. And then had to reschedule for earlier that day. The guy was very helpful and told me everything that the initial lady did not. He also said please let customer service know that you were not properly prepped with instructions. We couldn’t do all those changes that morning so we never did get service because it was not professional from day 1. Except for the actual guy who was supposed to come and give the service. The clerical and phone appointment people dropped the ball. And when it was all over and canceled, I got a text confirming my appointment that they never booked or I guess booked on the wrong day. So I had to call and cancel it because I was disgusted and done dealing with them so we went a different way. I saw the commercial and thought they were pros. Orkin pros. Maybe the actual service agents do good work but I’ll never know because whoever that lady is working the phone and scheduling was totally incompetent and also very unapologetic after they no showed for the first appointment.
