Now that I’ve had quite a few visits from this business I’ve dropped my rating from 5 to 3 stars. My initial issue was a wasp issue. They sprayed the entire outside of the house and that helped keep them away(for year one when I moved in). They told me that wasps don’t nest in the same place twice so they wouldn’t nest on the same sunny side of the house again the next year. Well guess what, the next year they were back. They also talked me into mosquito spraying in the spring and summer months. I’ve tried to cancel about 4 times and this year I *think* I was able to finally cancel these people from showing up. They don’t answer phones and if you set up a call back with their call center they never call back. I also made a makeshift wasps nest that I hang up every spring now and that works just as well to deter these wasps because I learned that they were territorial and won’t build super close to another nest. Haven’t had a wasp since.

Felipe is amazing. He is kind, helpful and always cheery. I have had no mice since Orkim has been servicing my home. The one downfall of this company is that they are VERY difficult to contact. I was signed up for a contract for a certain amount of money, but have continuously been overcharged, having great difficulty discussing it with anyone at their corporate contacts.

The Orkin service out of Pittsfield, MA is the best! The techs always arrive when scheduled, and they are considerate and knowledgeable. I have been using their company for many years and have never been disappointed.

I can handle much of anything but when it comes to Rodent Michael from Orkin is knowledgeable and hauls them away. I had to make an emergency call to Orkin due to something in the garage (scared ?)and Terrence the dispatcher made sure Orkin arrived the same day. I wish I could give Orkin 10 stars. The best part is Orkin always works around my family schedule when it comes time to reschedule.

Frankly, I am not impressed by your serviceman. He spends very little time doing his job unless I prompt him with "Did you check the bathroom, the basement, this side of the kitchen?" He makes me wonder if he is doing so little thereby insuring that I will need to keep using the service and never fully get rid of the bugs.

Dan is an amazing young man. So professional and friendly. He is extremely thorough and helpful. I appreciate his kindness and how he cares and takes time to explain what he does and why. He is definitely the best representative of a company that I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I pray all the Orkin employees are as good as Dan!!!! He definitely is top notch with customer service and getting the job done. Highly recommend!!!!

Initial service on 7/24/23 was good but have been trying to get someone to call me back since 7/25/23 to discuss an area that was missed and no one returns my call. Update - was able to reach them and scheduled a follow up service and the issue has been resolved. Happy customer now!

Orkin, based out of Pittsfield/ Lee, MA, was absolutely awesome. First of all they were very quick to help me remedy an immediate situation and crisis. Other companies were not willing to help me in my crisis and took 2 days just to set up an appointment which then was going to be another 3 days away. Orkin helped me immediately. Robert the inspector and Sam and Jasmine the techs were so awesome. They were all friendly, polite and very kind. All three were also extremely patient and helpful answering all my questions. They did not rush me. I asked many questions to understand what was happening, why, and how to prevent it in the future. Dealing with the three people I mentioned made my Orkin experience a very positive one. I would definitely recommend Orkin.

My husband and I discovered a swarm of yellow jackets in our walk-in closet yesterday. Orkin was fantastic about scheduling a technician to come out this morning. Danny was PHENOMENAL. He was professional, personable, and reassuring to us. He was thorough and made sure all the bees were gone prior to his leaving. He made sure we were aware that there could be some residual bees between our clothing in the closet and for us to be careful when removing the clothes. Danny made what could have been a nightmare situation so easy for us to deal with. Because of the quick response time and Danny’s fantastic work ethic and demeanor, we will be Orkin customers for life.
