I’ve had a plan with Orkin for about a year now and they have been nothing short of fantastic. my house has had ladybug infestations, house flies, mice, and fungus gnats and they’ve been able to get rid of them all. They always come same day or next day to handle things and are so kind. Special shout out to Jacob and Mckenzie who have done amazing work on my property!

Our first experience with orkin was above and beyond our expectations. Linwood Gerry arrived promptly on time ready to tackle all of our pest issues that other companies couldn’t handle. He was kind, courteous, and very professional. He stayed at our house answering every question and concern we had and answered them with an experienced wealth of knowledge. We have a service account with Orkin and pay for bi-monthly services since 2022. Our technician has now missed our last two treatments even though they told their boss they came. We have cameras on property and the dude lied to us TWICE. After the manager finally called us back it well took over a week for him to come out and assess our ant situation. Hundreds of dollars spent over the course of our contract and the best you can do is 8 days later?! Today as I write this it has now been close to three weeks and our ant problem is even worse, we have now lost two bookings and have had to refund another. We are now out hundreds of dollars and any faith we had in this company is long gone. As customers with an open and current account with Orkin, I wouldn’t recommend signing up if this is how they treat their own clients. Calling corporate to narc on the Pittsfield branch for: their lack of urgency and accountability during our emergency (as current clients), their work ethic, their overall honesty and the actual lack of service provided. I am forced to do this because I cannot get anyone to answer the phone in their local branch office. Zero stars boys.

I am extremely pleased with the service provided by Orkin Pest Control. Our technician was exceptional in every way. He arrived right on time and was punctual throughout the visit. His kind and courteous demeanor made the experience very pleasant. He was not only diligent in his work but also very, very, very respectful of our property. He took the time to be informative, explaining everything he was doing and answering all our questions with patience and expertise. Overall, he is a great person and a true professional. I highly recommend Orkin Pest Control, and I would love for the same technician to service our property every time. Thank you for providing such excellent service!

We hired Orkin for mice removal.  The relationship started out great whereby the Orkin team was very responsive, addressed all our questions, and provided us assurances that they would provide a world class service. However, within a month, things went downhill very quickly.  We realized that: 1) Orkin is very overpriced with their outside mouse bait traps. They charged us $150 for six traps and you could buy the same six traps for less than $30 elsewhere; 2) They did not provide as comprehensive a service as they had committed to whereby they missed a lot of key areas within our home to fill in holes where the mice were entering (closets, under the sink; behind the refrigerator).  We had to request they come back to finish the job; 3) Communication was lacking where they misunderstood specific instructions we had provided. 4) We granted the Orkin team access to our home without our presence, and notified the Orkin team where we would keep the house keys in an outside hidden location. When we returned to our home for the weekend, the house keys were stolen along with household meaningful items. If we were burglarized, there are much more valuable items in our home that would be more appealing to steal rather than household items. We have reason to believe that possibly someone from the Orkin team committed petty thievery and stole these items from our home that they believed would not be missed. Whilst we have no proof of this, there is no other explanation for how these items went missing. We sent an email to the Branch Manager of the Pittsfield office and asked for a reasonable credit to replace the items stolen. She 1) first blamed the theft on our plumber who we’ve used for decades and is a dear family friend; 2) showed absolutely no empathy; 3) cancelled our contract; and 4) would not offer any type of compensation as a good faith measure. We fully understand that Orkin will not accept liability due to opening itself to a potential lawsuit, however the way we were treated was shameful.  This is not how one would expect to be treated by a so-called “world class” organization. Therefore, we would NOT recommend using Orkin.

The Technician Logan was personable and very knowledgeable…went over the house and adjoining structures with me and thoroughly explained the products and process. Cost was EXACTLY what was quoted! I am completely satisfied with the service so far.

Now that I’ve had quite a few visits from this business I’ve dropped my rating from 5 to 3 stars. My initial issue was a wasp issue. They sprayed the entire outside of the house and that helped keep them away(for year one when I moved in). They told me that wasps don’t nest in the same place twice so they wouldn’t nest on the same sunny side of the house again the next year. Well guess what, the next year they were back. They also talked me into mosquito spraying in the spring and summer months. I’ve tried to cancel about 4 times and this year I *think* I was able to finally cancel these people from showing up. They don’t answer phones and if you set up a call back with their call center they never call back. I also made a makeshift wasps nest that I hang up every spring now and that works just as well to deter these wasps because I learned that they were territorial and won’t build super close to another nest. Haven’t had a wasp since.
