I basically donated money to this establishment, because the partial treatments was mediocre. I live in a two story and they would only treat the first floor. The second treatment got rescheduled by Orkin, said it was too soon. One guy kept asking personal questions, which made me uncomfortable. I called to cancel and was told to give them another try, to see how my second treatment would go. Well, it didn't. It surely seems like a water treatment. I had to go out to home depot after the first treatment to purchase pesticides and started treating myself. It's a new construction home and we really needed a good pest company. Bugs kept reappearing and they would never come out when schedule. I called a few times to speak with a manager and they continue to dodge me. I asked for a refund and all I received was $18 for the partial month that the service was canceled. And I still haven't heard back from the manager ans it's been at leastvtwo months now. My wife had Orkin come to our property because we saw a mouse inside of our house. A home inspector showed up and looked around the house and seemed to be very knowledgeable and wanting to help with our issue. He said that the he found two new nests and one old nest in our attic and that based on the evidence, we had a few families of mice living in our house. He then explained that it's going to start getting worse since the mice are now desperate enough to make themselves visible to us. He then reviewed the three solutions, effectiveness of said solutions, the price, and his personal recommendation. - The lowest solution cost approximately $2.5k and was a temporary band-aid - The middle solution, and his recommendation, was $10-12k and was a more longer term band-aid - The last solution was the full remediation and came in at $17-20k We commented that we were concerned about the infestation based on his inspection but that the prices were a lot higher than we anticipated. He then suggested a HELOC among other financing options and explained a few more times as to why it's important to go with at least his recommendation. After he left and I had time to think about the interaction, I began to second guess the information he provided because he really laid on the salesman schtick towards the end. I also found it strange that he was able to locate and identify tunnels, droppings, two new nests/one old nest, etc., without ever actually entering our attic (he climbed up the ladder enough to shine a flashlight around for 15-20 seconds at most). We ended up having two more companies out for additional opinions, and believe it or not, both companies came back with the same assessment: no infestation and both were able to identify the recent entry point for the mice. After being told about Orkin's inspection and findings, they said they saw evidence of a very old nest but no evidence of new nests, droppings, tunnels, etc., the the Orkin guy identified in 20 seconds. I'm only leaving this review because of the surprising lack of morality on display by this company. He came to my house, saw that we had five young kids, and still thought it was a good idea to try and con us into spending $10k+ for his imaginary infestation. They only care about hitting their numbers. Do yourself a favor and call a local company and always get additional opinions.

I’m actually in the process of looking for alternative pest control providers because Orkin doesn’t seem to spray for what you want them too! Only what they want to! All they ever do is spray for mosquitoes and I pay for to have everything done, especially wasps since that’s why I needed in the first place! Well they were just here about 2 weeks ago and I have like 3 wasps nest around my deck!!! I recommend someone else!!!

I would give zero Stars if I could. One of the worst experiences I've ever had with any company. First, we had them for 4 months and still had the same problem we started with. The treatment did not work at all. Second, terrible customer service. All I asked was that they call me before they show up. I'm lucky enough that I own my own business and can step away from what I'm doing and go to my home at any given time. That wasn't enough. They would show up early or late and wouldn't call me before and. I asked them every time to call me. They couldn't do it.

Nathanial Cheatom was very polite and answered all of our questions. Sprayed inside and outside. He even cleaned off the spider webs off the inside of the porch!!! Highly recommend Orkin and Nathanial. Also, Orkin keeps you informed with texts and emails of when they will be coming out.

After much worry and confusion the last couple weeks over a specific situation, I am very grateful to enjoy peace of mind this evening. Nathan was super helpful and patient with me, even allowing me to ask him all sorts of questions. He went everywhere I asked. THANK GOODNESS FOR ORKIN! I live in Hawthorne at Lily Flagg Apartments, where we pay for pest control (Cook’s Pest Control) in our lease. However, we’ve had a drain fly problem almost since we moved in April 2023. The flies return each year in May, driving us crazy and making us MISERABLE. This year, I paid for an Orkin treatment out of pocket (since my apartment complex refused to reimburse me), but we still had flies. I called Orkin out again, and the technician suggested that there must be another apartment with the flies, as well. I asked around and discovered my neighbor had the same problem. Orkin came back out and treated the other apartment. They also gave us advice on how to minimize the problem while the poison worked. Within days, the number of flies dropped. After a couple of weeks, the flies were practically nonexistent. As of today, we have been fly-free for weeks!!! I wish I had hired Orkin sooner instead of dealing with the incompetence at Cook’s and the insensitivity at the leasing office. If you’re looking for good, dependable, caring service, I highly recommend Orkin.

I Highly recommend them. Very fast and professional. The tech that came out Michael J was very professional and did excellent. Did not have to wait on him he was 10 minutes early and explained everything very throughly and was super nice! Took care of our problems and we will continue to use them!
