I scheduled an appointment to have squirrels removed from my attic and no one showed. They were supposed to arrive between 10 and 11:30am. I called at noon and the representative said he would reach out to the team. I waited until 3pm and called back because I hadn't received a call and no one arrived. I let them know to cancel. She asked if I wanted to reschedule and I said no because I'd already taken a day from work to have this completed. I wasn't gonna take the chance of missing another day of work. I'll never recommend them.

Extremely Disappointed – Unprofessional and Unreliable I’m beyond frustrated with my experience with Terminix. To date, they have entered my property twice without my knowledge or permission. I was promised a refund by a manager named John, which I have yet to receive. Despite calling him over five times and leaving multiple voicemails, he has not responded or followed up. Today, I had an appointment scheduled between 1–3 PM. Instead, someone showed up unannounced at 9 AM. This has become a pattern of blatant disregard for scheduling and communication. My issue is squirrels in the attic. Chris M., who did my initial inspection, was the only competent and professional person I’ve interacted with at Terminix. We agreed to place traps in both the attic and crawlspace, with the attic being the primary concern. I found out today — over a month later — that no trap has ever been placed in the attic, where we originally saw the squirrel activity. The crawlspace trap was only a precaution, yet that’s apparently the only place one was ever set. John, the manager, initially reached out after the first unauthorized visit, apologized, and offered a partial refund. That refund has not been processed. John also told Chris he would call me Tuesday morning — it’s now Thursday afternoon, and I’ve heard nothing. This level of unprofessionalism is astounding. What’s most upsetting is that someone like Chris, who has been communicative, kind, and honest throughout all of this, will likely feel the fallout of this failed service. He has done his best to advocate on my behalf and follow through on his word — something no one else at this company seems capable of doing. At this point, I am expecting a full or partial refund as previously promised. I cannot recommend Terminix based on my experience.

We have had terminix come out 3 times a year since 2021 in Leslie. It is affordable for them to spray around the perimeter of a huge home and the 2 football size backyard for the dogs. It's helped with mosquitoes, termites, bugs and most of all ticks that have exploded in abundance the last couple years. My dogs and my family still have not had any ticks found on them. Knock on wood lol Thank you Terminix!!!!!

After 9 years of excellent customer service, we’ve officially terminated our contract. With the merging of two companies, came a collision of not doing right for us while sharing we may have to spend an additional $3K for services we’ve already been paying for all along. In addition, no one has returned our call since mid-January as we even offered to make it deal. One word of advice, make sure any rep that visits your home can share with you all they’ve done for you to-date so you know they’ve got your back.

I paid $300 for two pest control services. The first appointment went fine, the second appointment has been an absolute disaster. I have had TWO no call no shows. Saturday was my original appointment, they were scheduled to come between 12pm-5:30, I waited until 5:30 and called to find out the technician was not coming. I was rescheduled for Monday between 12-5, ANOTHER no call no show, this is very inconvenient, unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time. I left work early to make sure I was home to let them in and I had someone else leave work early to be here as well, nothing! I then called their main number and was told I was rescheduled to Wednesday afternoon without my knowledge, I wasn’t even told they weren’t coming! I am VERY unhappy and will need resolution, this is not what I signed up for! I would have went with Orkin if I had known they were as unprofessional as this.

Nick is the technician who services my property and he is amazing. He is so thorough and informative that my questions have answers before they're asked. Even in winter when I have minimal pest problems he is so efficient and prepared that I realize immediately how having a service contract is such a benefit. What a professional! Randy, the supervisor of the team that came to my house has been absolutely awesome. It’s really hard to find employees of his caliber. After running a business for 40 years, I can attest to this. He is Truly, a great asset for Terminix has done a wonderful job for me. I can’t see enough.

Update: shows the incompetence level of this company, the company asked me for my Service address when my review isn’t even about a service. 🤦‍♂️ This company lied to me upon my hiring, I was hired here to be a route technician that receives a handsome salary for high paying commissions and bonuses that would attract any seasoned experienced technician like myself, upon me signing my offer letter for the route technician position, they attempted to backdoor me into working for their bed bug department that has no commissions or bonuses without my knowledge. I confronted their manager Jeff about it and he confirmed that they were trying to sneak and push me to bed bugs in text messages that I still have, a position i did not apply or interview for. I spoke with a woman named Kimberly in their corporate office that assured me that I could just apply for any other position within rentakill, and in doing so I have received 0 call backs after I voiced concerns about the management at this canton branch, in which I’m 100% is retaliatory and I’m 100% certain that’s ILLEGAL in Michigan. This company is a sham, if they would lie to their employees faces imagine what they would lie to their customers about.

Nick was so very polite and thorough as he treated my house inside and out. I especially appreciated that he scheduled a follow up to determine if our treatment was effective for identifying any spiders inside as we have been experiencing some bites at night when sleeping. Thank you.

I visited a building that had a bed bug infestation. I then started getting bites in my own home so I scheduled a free bed bug inspection. The tech Chris M. (Canton, MI) was extremely thorough in his evaluation. He is very knowledgeable and informative. Luckily he found no evidence of bed bugs. I appreciate his honesty tremendously. Very professional. A+ in my book
