Hello!
Our service tech Matte Higley is very through and very customer oriented. We would like him to be our assigned tech from here on. We have been with Terminex for over 20+ years. Very satisfied with our service especially with our old tech who we had for 17 years. In the past 18 months we have had at least 6 different techs. They have all done a great job however there is no continuity. We have to educate the techs about our nature yard and our visiting hummers, every time there is a new tech change, which has been several as I have commented on.
I understand Terminex was purchased by an English company and there has been lots of internal and International conflicts during the transition.
The way we see this very long transition is,the only thing that has been
consistent is the inconsistency. Which is not our problem, however it has become our problem as I have mentioned.
As I mentioned earlier, Matte Higley is a tech who we would like to continue handling our service, can someone make that happen for us???
I am also curious about 2 other items. Why is it that our area has become a revolving door for managers. Seems to me, that means the top management has no clue of what is going on or the new English owners have no idea how to run a U.S. company and what the priorities should be? Also one last item, the English companies name, I hope that does not replace the name Terminex, because that really doesn't fit here on the U.S.
Like your service and your techs. Would like to have just one in the future.
Thanks

Terminix did not show up for my inspection appointment I booked through their texting service (that they recommended when I called). After they didn’t show up on time, I spent nearly an hour on hold on the phone trying to figure out where they were and eventually had to give up because I couldn’t waste more than 2 hours of my day on this between them not showing up and then the extended hold time. I tried the texting option to get support for my missed appointment but they took an hour to respond then didn’t read back to know what I was asking. When I didn’t respond in 10 minutes (because I was making lunch for my family) they ended the conversation and set a survey and I had to start over. If you’re thinking about using Terminix, don’t, run in the other direction.

Horrible service and customers service makes you wait for ever. They do not return calls and the home service was a joke. The guy came to my house to remove mice, was told they cleaned out heat ducts and was told they would show possible entry points, that didn’t happen and put a few traps down then left. All thing I have been doing myself and could have done without them and they won’t refund because a service was rendered yet I wasn’t satisfied with the service so how do they justify that. Do a service and then the customer will know weather they liked it or not then decided to continue or cancel is usually how that works but not at terminix they said a service was done but how would I know I wasn’t satisfied without them giving me a reason to be? The whole process has been ridiculous and I will never return and I’ll be passing along to anyone else I know with any pest issues I know they will be losing at least three more customers unless this is resolved.

Scheduled an inspection last week. Because there is an animal in the ceiling of the house my partner and I recently bought. We received one email to confirm said appointment. Thought everything was good. The window is now closed... And never showed up. Called the customer service number and was told it would be a 20 min wait so now been waiting for a call back for about an hour. Horribly unorganized company would not recommend.

If zero stars were an option, that would be the rating.
We contacted Terminix for a one-time yellow jacket treatment. The technician arrived three hours before the scheduled window, without notice. Fortunately, we were home. He spent about 30 minutes on-site, was unable to locate the nest, and stated he wasn’t sure how to effectively treat the issue. His report reflects this. BUT he claims the treatment was performed. NO TREATMENT WAS PERFORMED!
No service agreement was signed at any point, but a credit card was required to book the appointment. The next day, a $246 charge appeared on our account. When I called and explained the situation. I was told a refund would be issued. Later that evening, a service agreement for an annual plan with recurring $67 monthly charges was sent for signature- after the charge had already been processed.
When management followed up, they stated a refund would not be issued because the technician reported performing a service. We explained that no service was completed, and offered video evidence from our cameras to confirm. This was dismissed.
We then were transferred to the cancellation department to ensure there would be no ongoing charges. We requested a signed copy of the supposed agreement and were told it wasn’t accessible (because it does t exist). We also requested written confirmation of cancellation, which we still have not received.
Overall, we were charged for a service that was not performed, enrolled in a plan we did not authorize, and denied a refund despite clear documentation. This experience has been extremely disappointing. Management is incredibly unprofessional. Save yourself a potential headache, and use a different company.

UPDATE: after I canceled my service and asked for a refund for the service that was never performed, I was billed again and the refund did not go through until I called a second time. Then after I received the refund and thought everything was done, they sent me to collections for bills that were for services that didn't exist. Also not once has a member of management reached out like I was told they would on 3 separate occasions. Call center staff is great to talk to and seem to be helpful but all in all this company seems like they have some really shady business practices...
first I would like to say, that the service I did receive did seem to help, but overall I would not recommend, they no call-no-showed back to back months and if I didn't have a camera at my front door I would have never known, this may be a one off with the area or the tech that dose my neighborhood but still just a shady practice and I'm sure if it has happened to me its happening to others.

If I could leave zero stars I could, the service was poor, it didn’t work and there was no follow through. I specifically asked about my garden beds as I did not want pesticides on my food and was promised they would not put anything near those beds. They literally placed them between my vegetables plants, I was told the traps be deep enough into the ground that we could mow over them and that my son wouldn’t be able to access them. This was also not done. I had been told someone would be back out to discuss my issues. Never happened. How I’ve called to cancel and have been told I’m trapped for a full year even though I made absolutely certain that would not be the case. I am absolutely beyond frustrated and will make sure all my neighbors know not to use this service. (Plus, I STILL have pests!!!)

The technician for my area, Mr. James H., has been servicing my home for close to a year now. From our initial meeting, he always exudes professionalism, but most importantly knowledge. First and foremost, James gave me a “personalized” plan for my pest control issues. And after each visit, he ensures that any concerns I may have are addressed. He also offers recommendations that will assist in sustaining the recurring treatments. James unwavering commitment to providing excellent service, demonstrated in every interaction, makes me, as a long-time customer, feel valued!
