Making Your Home a Fortress Against Pests with Terminix
Imagine relaxing in your Indiana home without the nagging worry of uninvited critters spoiling your peace. That's the comfort Terminix aims to provide. With a reputation for zapping pests right where it hurts, Terminix offers a portfolio of services that hit the bullseye on all sorts of pest problems. Whether you're at war with termites, mosquitoes, or rodents, we're diving deep into the Terminix treasure chest to discover how they can defend your castle against these pesky invaders, without making your wallet cry for mercy.
Comprehensive Pest-Thwarting Packages
Terminix doesn't just offer a one-shot deal; it's the full meal deal when it comes to pest prevention and control. If your home is doubling as a bed-and-breakfast for termites and other pests, consider bundling services. For instance, combining pest and termite control not only evicts these unwelcome guests but also shaves an average of $175 off your bill. Tackling mosquitos in the mix? That's a whopping $375 savings off the regular price, not to mention a free inspection to boot. And with the Indiana weather inviting mosquitoes to backyard banquets, that's a deal sweeter than the iced tea on your porch.
Knockout Punch for Pests
Now, let's talk pests – those uninvited guests that crash your home parties. The $50 off pest control starter offer is the opening gambit in the chess game against these critters. With an initial $99 investment, Terminix swoops in with a multipoint inspection. They come armed with an arsenal of EPA-approved chemicals and a guarantee: if the pests pull a Houdini and reappear within 30 days, Terminix comes back to settle the score at no extra cost.
Quarterly pest control is like having your own personal pest bouncer. For $99-$120 initially and a reasonable monthly fee thereafter, Terminix will stand guard, ensuring pests don’t make a return performance. They cover an impressive set list of pests, from the classic cockroach to the high-pitched house cricket.
The Termite Tactics
When termites threaten the very foundations of your Hoosier home, Terminix has a plan of attack. With a 10% saving on a termite plan and a free inspection, your wooden structures breathe a sigh of relief. The Basic Termite Plan™ offers annual inspections and continuous protection, while the Advanced and Premium plans include a repair guarantee that covers new termite damage up to a whopping $250,000.
Mosquito Mission Impossible
Indiana summers are like an all-you-can-eat buffet for mosquitoes. The $50 off Quick Guard Mosquito Service is Terminix's answer to these buzzing bloodsuckers. Whether you choose a one-time assault for $150 or ongoing season-long defenses, Terminix's treatments start working straight away and keep mosquitoes at bay for weeks at a time.
Rat Race Resolution
Rats and mice need not apply for residence in your abode. With $100 off and a free inspection, Terminix's rodent control is like setting up a velvet rope that only VIPs can pass. An initial inspection followed by a customized treatment plan and regular check-ins ensures your home doesn’t become the hot new spot on the rodent rave circuit.
Don't Let the Bed Bugs Bite
We've all heard the saying, and Terminix takes it seriously. Their free inspection leads to a customized battle plan, with treatments like RapidFreeze® that turn bed bugs into popsicles without putting your family or pets at risk. Prices vary, but the peace of mind? That's priceless.
Wildlife Watch
If larger freeloaders like raccoons or squirrels have made themselves at home, Terminix's wildlife control sends them packing. After a free inspection, a battle plan is drawn up, and the wildlife is evicted. With annual check-ups, your home stays a wildlife-free zone.
Travis was exceptionally helpful and completed a thorough examination of our house. He found so much more than we were expecting because he knew exactly what to look for. He was kind and knowledgeable. I feel confident his team will be able to help us with our termites.

We had a free inspection after sending pictures of potential termite activity in our basement. Our inspector, Travis, took a look around and determined that it, thankfully, wasn't actually termites at all! We appreciate the honesty and attention to detail.

I recently set an Appt. with Terminex, and was told that Travis was going to be the person coming to my home, for the Inspection. Needless to say Travis did not show up for the appointment, nor did he call me directly to let me know that he could not attend. I was very upset about this entire ordeal, simply because I left work early to meet with Travis, and he never showed up! I am wondering why an appt was ever set, if he couldn't attend??Terminex MUST DO BETTER!
I contacted Terminex, and they told me that they sent emails as well as text to Travis, but he waited 3 days to follow back up with me. I never got a sorry or my mistake from him, his main concern was do I rent or own my home?? I explained to Travis that this was highly unprofessional, and no customer should get treated this way. I also told Travis that I contacted another business, and they did a professional and excellent job.IT appears that the service guys do WHATEVER at Terminex, and no one holds them accountable! I also reached out to Tim, supposedly a Manager, and I never received a call back. Shocker huh? If you want a professional company that provides great customer service, then Terminex is NOT your answer!!!!!!!

Worst decision I've ever made. I had raccoons in the attic and got a free estimate. The guy told me it'd be 10,000 to redo the attic and insulation. I told him i just need the raccoons removed, i cannot afford 10,000 dollars. He said it'd be 3,000 to fix the area they were getting in and to remove them. I agreed and made sure to clarify several times that it'd be a one time payment because it was a credit card. He assured me it was and so I paid the 3,000 dollars. Upon their arrival, they said they were here for the mice problem. I said no, we have raccoons in the attic. They said okay we can take care of that. They fixed all the entrances except for one, set up my personal trap, and left.
We caught 1 raccoon in my personal trap and I called for removal. It took them 3 days to come back and get it. They didnt return with my trap so I called the next day and they said they'd call back. I waited 4 days for someone to bring my personal trap back and set it. I noticed an additional charge for 365 dollars and called to ask about it, as I was previously assured it would be a one time charge of 3,000 dollars. They said they'd have someone call me back. I caught another raccoon and called them to pick it up. During that call I asked about the charges and they assured someone would call me about it. I then noticed a few more charges of 85$ and at that point my credit card was maxed. I was furious and called to speak with someone who could explain this to me. After being transfered 3 times, a lady said that shed forward it to her manager and unenroll me from the additional services I was signed up for that I had not agreed to.
Next, I had 3 baby raccoons in traps and called for removal. They said they couldn't find any history or accounts for my service and that someone would call back. If not, they'd text or email. Its been 5 days and nobody has contacted me. I released the 3 baby raccoons because I was afraid they'd starve to death.
My credit took a massive hit due to my credit card that they maxed out with additional charges, which is keeping me from moving.
Worst decision I've ever made was trusting these people. I just want my money back and to go our separate ways. 😭

I wish zero stars was an option.
This company is a complete disgrace. They promise callbacks—but never actually follow through—miss appointments with staggering regularity, and act as if customer care is nonexistent. Their total absence of accountability and blatant disrespect for clients is unforgivable.
Imagine this: You have a bug problem so you hire Terminix for pest control. They proactively treat your home a few times a year and you're told if there are any problems you can schedule additional services.
Sounds great, right? Wrong.
First, you cannot reach the local branch. Instead, you're forced to fill out a form online to request an appointment and they only check this on week days. After submitting the form you receive zero confirmation or a copy of your request, rather, you get a message that someone will try to reach out to you within 24 hours.
Days will go by. You'll put in additional requests with no reply. And finally, perhaps you'll try a chat or a phone call. Those are great because the person on the phone will solely blame your branch. Then, they'll tell you they're escalating your call and the branch manager will call you back. (Spoiler alert, he won't. Ever. I'm talking about you TIM HARVEY.)
You'll wait for a few days for a phone call (in this case, five) and call Terminix again. They'll apologize, blame the branch again, and if you're lucky, finally, set up an appointment.
Now it's been weeks of pest problems. What do you do? Do you let pets and critters run all over your home, untamed? Do you buy your own instant-killing products like RAID? Do you get Terro Traps? How much have you spent in the days/weeks since you reached out for help?
No matter. Even though it's been over a week, you still wait patiently for that appointment (which, at the earliest, will be in eight more days if you're lucky) and when the day comes, NO ONE SHOWS UP AT YOUR HOME. Did you take the day off work like I did to be there?
So you call the 800 number again to find out what happened. They blame the branch. They say the branch manager will call back shortly. He doesn't.
You call again. They contact him again. He'll get back to you asap and hey - they can send someone out tomorrow! Great! You say okay and wait for that phone call. It never comes.
You call a third time, hours later. Oh! The Branch Manager didn't call? Let me place you on hold... okay. He'll call you back within the next hour.
You call a fourth time and the CSR is shocked: It's been another four hours and he hasn't called? Really? Hold please... and I just spoke to him. He'll call you first thing tomorrow morning.
SHOCKINGLY, the next morning, TIM DOES NOT CALL YOU AGAIN. You get to contact Terminix again for the 5th time in two days! Now the case is escalated -- he'll definitely call you this time. In fact, he's driving into the office right now! It will be a few minutes! Hours later, still no call.
But it's okay right, because there's an apointment scheduled for today, right? They made it yesterday when they missed yesterday's appointment? WRONG. The CSR on the phone forgot to actually schedule it! You're home from work again and no one is coming out!
I'm in the midst of this right now but TIM HARVEY - BRANCH MANAGER has been contacted by his call center no fewer than six times and continues to lie to them and say he'll contact me back. ALL I WANT IS SOMEONE TO TREAT MY HOUSE FOR BUGS but apparently, Terminix doesn't do that.
Can't wait to provide an update to this exciting saga but I think you know how it ends: TIM DOESN'T CALL and I terminate my contract, warning anyone within ear-shot to NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY.
Save yourself the hassle—steer clear at all costs.

I would leave zero stars if I could. Initially getting ahold of someone is easy for an appointment but beyond that good luck. I was on hold for over 2 1/2 hours to get in touch with someone about my appointment being double booked and changed several times without warning. When I finally called to cancel our account without even having our first appointment they said they had to put me on hold to transfer me AGAIN and waited another 20-30 minutes before hanging up. I am still trying to get ahold of someone to cancel my account. It should not be this hard to get in contact with someone.

I'd leave negative ten stars if I could - Travis Samuels stopped by our house this morning to do an inspection. My wife and I communicated to him that we were getting 3 estimates to inspect our insect concerns and appropriate remedies. He misled her and conned her into signing a contract AND getting her credit card "because the office people need to do the billing, not the techs that come out" - He emailed me the 'inspection summary' and my wife calls me telling me that she thinks she was duped into signing a contract to do the work. I immediately called Travis and asked him to explain to me what he had my wife sign - he then LAUGHED at me and said "your life away" - to which I firmly replied "this isn't a laughing or joking matter" - he then said she signed a contract for them to do the work. I told him to immediately cancel it and that we were exerecising our 3 day right of recission (in Indiana we're legally allowed to rescind a contract if the vendor solicits you at your home). I called his boss "Tim" and left a voicemail - I don't expect a call back - Travis was slimy and needs fired - I then spend an hour and a half on the phone w/ Terminix trying to get our contract cancelled - during that phone call (with 3 different people) I find out that Travis conveniently scheduled us to have the work done the same day - which also takes away our ability to cancel the contract - imagine how THAT phone call would have gone..... This company engages in deceptive business practices - and then Daniel Brown from Terminix had the AUDACITY to try to offer me a reduced rate if I wanted to still have them perform the services.... SERIOULY ??? I told him the only way I'd even be open to a conversation about Terminix being on my property is if I was personally handed Travis' termination papers. He said that might not be an option. I then asked if Terminix authorized their sales agents to engage in processes where they goat rope customers into waiving their legal right to cancel contracts by offering "same day service" - he couldn't speak to that (of course). This a slimy ass company and if I treated a customer the way Travis (and Terminix) did to my wife and I - I would be out of a job rapidly.
Stay far away.

A year ago I had Terminix service agains termites. I was charge almost $2000 for 15-20 minutes job to install poision chemicals. Not so long ago I was called from Terminix to renew the insurance and schduled for an inspector visit 02/11/2025. Nobody showed up. When I called to Terminix customer service and gave to an operator my information, she right away hang up the phone. Second try to call had no success. The line was buzy. It is completely no respect and BS, even I was toll to be charged additional $300 for the inspection and refil poison chemicals.
Never ever I will have any deal with terrible company and I advise to all people do not trast Terminix. No I see if they send me bill.

Approximately eight years ago, we had the local Laporte Terminix company spray our house for bedbugs. Well guess what they’re back and the reason why they’re back is because Terminix only sprayed one time and I read that one time is not enough. When the Terminix people left, they said we had no more bugs. Bull. Bedbugs go dormant and then they wake up. Well, guess what they’re awake and it’s getting worse and worse. it is severe. Thanks so much and now we can’t afford an exterminator!!!!! 😡😡
