Scheduled a free consultation and our technician, Hector, was great. Super friendly, did a very thorough inspection, let us know how bad the problem was (our situation was minor, I didn't feel like he was overstating it or telling us the sky is falling), gave us some pointers and told me exactly what Terminix could do to solve the problem. Offered multiple products with different price ranges so we could choose the one that made the most sense for us. Highly recommend getting a consultation from Hector if you can.

After twenty years, I have finally terminated Terminix. The local office in Pleasanton is impossible to contact. Instead, if you have a question or a problem, you are shunted to a central call center where you never talk to the same person twice. You can spend hours on the phone trying to remedy a simple problem and still not have it communicated properly to the Pleasanton office, or--I presume--to whatever your local office of Terminix is. For example, I took a day off work last Friday to wait for a Terminix employee to show up to deal with a fungus problem under my porch. He/she was a no-show. After long conversations with the central Terminx people (who did not allow me to speak to the Pleasanton office), I managed to determine that Terminix had scheduled the visit for the wrong date, mistakenly putting October 27 instead of September 27. They acknowledged their error and offered to reschedule, but from the central office, they could not confirm that the new date they had given me would work for the Pleasanton office which they said would "call me." The Pleasanton office never called. When I recontacted Terminix Central, I found that 1) They had never scheduled the new date 2) They still had someone coming to my house on the cancelled (and impossible) October 27th date. In other words, I had spent hours trying to deal with their mistake, and they had not managed to correct it. Stay away from Terminix. They are dysfunctional, non-responsive, and unreliable. Heaven help you if you have a problem. Terminix won't.
