Thankyou Ryen and Joseph for coming out to my home and reassuring me that everything will be alright. It was my first appointment they showed up at the perfect time because I have so much to do today Set traps inspected my whole house and let me know my options moving forward, they were both very nice and professional and I appointment that Ryen asked me if I was going to be OK because this has been a horrible experience for me.The winter has been just horrible for everyone but it's causing unusual rodents to enter that I have never encountered before. I'm just glad I called them and hope they are going to help me rid this issue, it's been mentally challenging and I'm a clean freak and terrified of rodents and I'm glad they came before I had an infestation as well.So I would highly recommend them .They have things you cannot buy at the store and the last company I called said I can do it myself it will be easy,no that's not the case although we caught a couple it didn't work.

Update on 1/24/25: I want to update my post I made on 1/18/25. After talking with an agent and our advisor, Joseph MacDonald, I stand corrected on my previous post. The agent, Heather, and especially, Joe, made everything right. He took full blame for the lack of communication my wife and I received from Orkin. He returned my call, we talked, and listened to my concerns. He came out two days later and did a thorough investigation of our basement, attic, and perimeter of the house on the outside. I felt 100% better after that inspection and reassured me to stay in contact, when needed. He even took care of some other issues as well for me. My deepest apologies for the previous post. I accept full blame. Orkin came through, especially because of Joe MacDonald.

I recently had a bad experience with a Orkin person but my last visit was much better. He chatted with us a little about himself and went right to work doing his job. I feel more at ease being a handicap woman knowing I can carry on a conversation with them. Whoever came to my house in September you did an awesome job. We live next to a swamp and get very big spiders, but I have not seen any in awhile. Thanks so much Orkin.

Had issues with mice and the issue has been cleared up ever since the first visit from Orkin. We also recently discovered a wasp problem in between the siding and the roof of our home and they were able to get us scheduled within 3 days of calling. The wasp service was also quick and convenient. Would definitely recommend Orkin to anyone having pest problems.

We had bats in the attic.Orkin came and tried to find and plug entries. Assured us they would come back if the problem continued. I have since called them twice. We have had a bat in the house 3 times this week. They say someone will contact us but no one does.

We were told that control of Mosquitoes & Ticks would be a challenge for Orkin, due to our remote location. And not to mention that being directly next to a waterway only NATURAL solutions can be used to keep pests at bay. After week 1, we are pretty much bug free, and surprisingly no Ticks on our two dogs. They are white-haired so it's easy to see the difference. Of course it's only week 1, still have to see how well the bugs are under control, as applications are on a 4 week schedule. **** Update **** Late June Application went perfectly, new Application Tech again, and he understood where to spray after a nice conversation. We did not think it possible, but we have had zero ticks on our two WHITE dogs since we had the 1st application. Normally we would get 18-24 per week, now zero. Mosquitos are kept at bay, but that seems to wear off about the third week after, and we do have more yard time. Great job, under tough circumstances.. take a look at our green river these days. ****** July Update ****** Once again Orkin comes through with even better Mosquito & Tick protection for those properties located in "sensitive" areas, like ours... those near waterways & lakefronts. Our FAVORITE Orkin Tech, Austin C., was ready for another application and showed us a new product additive that prolongs the effective time for applications like ours. 1 0z of the new ingredient can give up to 40-50 days coverage before wearing off. Our property has been "tick free" since we started Orkin service in May. We have two small white dogs who collected between 16-18 ticks weekly between them, and that went to zero. And even better, mosquitos have been kept at bay pretty much all day and night, except an hour around dusk & dawn. And the property is very rustic, forest on one side, riverfront on the other... and a bug free patch of land we call home, in the middle. ****** August Update ****** This month seems to be the worst month for mosquitos, every where we go. But back home the only bad times are Dusk & Dawn. Orkin seems to be getting ahead of the curve here, each treatment lasts just a little bit longer than the last, a day or three, now the bugs stay clear almost a week longer than in May. And for those counting... zero ticks on our two white dogs since June.

It’s only been about an hour since they came and sprayed but still a massive difference. They were able to come the next morning after calling and spray before a birthday party. Went from 100’s of bees in the yard. No joke. To about 10-15 at a time. Give it a few hours and I’m sure they’ll be gone.

Terrible experience. I initially called to get an estimate for services for a mice problem in my home. The sales rep on the phone told me that Orkin would come over and take care of my house from the attic to the basement and eradicate the problem. They showed up late for the first service and the exterminator said he doesn’t go in attics. Then he proceeded to set traps around my house but he used my traps I previously purchased on my own. He said he was running low on traps so I agreed to let him use mine. After he set a few traps, another Orkin employee showed up (the free home inspector). The inspector went in my attic and tried telling me my house was dangerous to live in. He then tried selling me a $15,000 job to remove my old insulation in my attic and replace it. I have since gotten second and third opinions from other businesses who advised me Orkin lied to me and there is nothing wrong with my attic. The exterminator set a few more traps in my basement and then asked me if he could keep the rest of my traps I purchased with my own money. So I paid $350 for them to come over and set traps in my home (which is something I have been doing on my own) and for them to take the rest of my traps I purchased on my own. I have since called Orkin back 4 times in the last week to get my money back as they stated they have a 100% money back guarantee if you are unhappy with services. The secretary keeps telling me a manager will call me back to issue my refund, however, I have yet to receive a call back. I have no choice left but to report this business to the Better Business Bureau and dispute the charges with my bank. Orkin is a scam and I would encourage you to take your business elsewhere before you are scammed.
