I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from this company regarding the termite tenting for my home. I chose this company because they are a large, well-known company with good reviews. They were not the cheapest estimate I received, and I even had other companies offering more services for less money. However, I decided to go with them because the technician who came to my house seemed very knowledgeable, and I believed choosing a bigger company would mean a smoother and more professional experience. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. First, I was told that the financing application would only involve a soft credit check. However, it ended up being a hard inquiry on my credit report. I am currently trying to refinance my home, and I only discovered this after seeing it on my credit. When I called the company, they confirmed that it was a hard inquiry and informed me it could remain on my credit for 6 months to a year. This was never properly explained to me upfront. Second, the communication and preparation process has been extremely poor. The day before tenting, I had already spent time getting everything ready: moving plants, removing string lights, and preparing the property. I have fences on both sides of my home with removable panels, but nobody informed me that those panels needed to be removed for the tenting process. I had to call the company myself to ask if the fences were okay, only to be told that I needed to remove the panels. This left me scrambling the day before to find someone who could help remove them. Finally, the day of the tenting, I was told the crew would arrive between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM. It is now 3:00 PM, and nobody has shown up. I called the company, and the manager was unavailable. The representative I spoke to was dismissive and simply said the manager would call me back. It has been over 30 minutes, and I still have not received any communication or explanation as to why no one has arrived. Overall, I am very disappointed with the lack of transparency, poor communication, and unprofessional service. This has been an incredibly stressful process, and I expected much better from a company with such a strong reputation. I would not recommend them based on my experience.

He comes every couple of weeks, is always professional, and does a great job checking in to make sure we’re not having any pest or mosquito issues. Quite honestly the worst experience I’ve ever dealt with a business. Tech didn’t show up. Rescheduled me without notifying. Rescheduled 3 different times for incorrect windows after explicitly saying I work at those times. Decided that this business just doesn’t want to do business. Avoid at all costs.

After tenting for drywood termite, no internet at home. Went to backyard to find Fiber optic cable snapped. Update to review pending Orkins remediation decision. Edit 08/02/25: Att tech said it was probably a garbage truck. Something happened while tenting and lowered the height of the cable and the garbage truck snagged the line. Still 1 star because found more issues. A lot of broken roof tiles. Roof tiles were less than a month old. Edit: I realized my local Orkin office is the one in Miami Lakes. Posting review there instead.
