We were using Western Pest Control (a local business and a great, reliable family business) for many years. They inspected my mother's home in Baltimore for many years, so when I noticed a swarm of termites in my basement, I called Western. After a few years, Orkin bought them. We were not informed about the change, but received an invoice stuffed between our screen door and front door. We were sure that it was a mistake, but could not verify why we received an invoice from a company that we had not contracted with. It took a number of calls to find out that Orkin was now working with Western's customers. It has been a nightmare from Day One! The local office is a nightmare. They schedule appointments without your approval and will charge you if they come out. We had to beg them to replace damaged bait boxes which were overlooked during a quarterly inspection. When someone came out, he was abusive and told us that we did not need replacement boxes, even though the tops were missing from some of the boxes. They schedule you for service on and do not let you know. Then they just keep changing it for a later date when they don't show. They keep making changes to their scheduling program and their billing program. Several times this year their system has changed my appointment week, day and time, and not even contacted me. When you call the local office, they promise solutions which never happen . . . just more lies and confusion! Avoid them at all cost! It is beyond comprehension that they have any good ratings on Yelp. If you check them out on Trust Pilot, their ratings are 1.5 stars with 83% bad reviews. Check out local companies. Look for reviews on other sites. Avoid national companies as they answer to shareholders and not to customers.

Morning, you're making it sound like he showed up and actually did something. He never showed up, this is his second time this month, on the 19th of December now it's the 26th and he missed again this makes the third time he hasn't shown up since I got the package in July. . Orkin’s technician came this morning to do a preliminary inspection. Then his supervisor came later in the day to inspect the attic, which the technician had not checked. There he found several issues which he duly documented. I appreciate that he was very thorough.

I reached out due to seeing droppings in my kitchen. One guy came a walked around, took some pictures. The other guy came in and attempted to only spray and put down feed (or something) in the kitchen. I asked him to do the basement (idk where all the mice go, I think the house should be fully covered). On the phone they said they would spray outside as well, I don’t think that happened. Shortly after the men leaving, I get a quote for almost $5,000 to actually close up the gaps and prevent pests from getting inside. That shocked me. I could’ve purchased some spray (he diluted his with water, hopefully there was actually some solution in there) and put down some sticky traps.

Terrible customer service experience. They continued to charge my account after I had discontinued services. I spoke to the branch manager William Kelly thinking he would help me but was left preplexed by his unprofessionalism and combativeness. STAY AWAY from this service. Not worth the headache.
