Signed a service agreement, no one showed up to the appointment. I was told I would be getting $75 off my initial inspection because or this. When the tech finally showed up two days later, we were then told that they can’t do the inspection because (according to one person) “we aren’t the homeowners” and then (by another person, the manager) because “ The person they sent out doesn’t do initial inspections and that’s not what we were signed up for” (see attached confirmation). So we received no service and a bad attitude from the manager. This place is an absolute nightmare.

The initial phone conversation was very helpful, and pest control services were easy to set up.The only problem was that the tech showed up at 4:45 for the 2-4 appointment time. He was helpful and answered several questions. The price is a bit high, but if it works, it will be worth it. Initial appointment was $192 and recurring appointments are $95

Honestly it had been an entire mess dealing with Orkin. We had paid in August to get our service which was the 1st visit. We paid the $134 for the 1st service. Shortly after paying he stated that he had run out of gas and that he would come out another day to finish the job. No worries. I called shortly after to see when the next date would be for someone to come out. The call center said she was not aware of that. That they would send someone out in September and they would treat my yard and it would be a free service. Okay no problem. I called the day that they were supposed to have someone come out to finish my free service for the one they hadn’t completed. I called an hour after the time slot and they said “ sorry someone should have called we had a call out no one will be coming out today. “ I didn’t get my first actually service until 2 weeks later so now 6 weeks from when I paid for the 1st one I got a full service in September. Thankfully. Then yesterday I was supposed to have my October service was supposed to be here from 2-4 texted me at 4pm said hey I’m sorry I’m running late I’m on my way to you be there within the hour. Perfect no worries thank you for the communication. After about an hour and a half he said 20 jobs bad day. So then that was it. No one showed up. I called that same day they said well we were told so I’ll get you booked for tomorrow. A manager or I will call you in the morning around 9am. No call I called at 11. They lady who answers the phone is always nice. She got me a manager. Who basically said sorry. He was a nice guy. It has been a a mess trying to get a service. Between 7 different appointments and only 2 full services. This was our first time using this type of service and I don’t think we will try it again.

I can’t say enough about all the men that work at ORKIN they came out to my house to read my attic of mice. It took a couple of days longer than they expected, but I had the time and everyone that I met was kind, courteous, professional, and extremely hard workers. I am so glad I use them now and will recommend anyone to please use them. They know what they’re doing and they get the job done. Thanks ORKIN!!

Orkin has been absolutely amazing! I am a new homeowner, and they have been great working with me to get rid of the carpenter ants at my house. Their technicians have always been prompt, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable. Mark is the technician that has come out to treat the most, and I appreciate his expertise and the extra leg work he put in to find where the ants were hiding outside and how they were getting into the house. 100000/10 I cannot recommend Orkin enough!!!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called the call line to schedule an appointment for an earwig issue at my home. I was pushed towards a one-year agreement which didn't seem unreasonable considering the issue I had previously with earwigs and was given a price. I told them I wanted to pay it all up front and was told that each local office gives different discounts for payment in full and that I would have to get the price from my service tech, but I was told it would be no more than a certain amount. The technician came out and told me that he had nothing to do with billing and instead I would have to call his office to make those arrangements. It was a minor annoyance, but understandable so I called to set up my one-time payment. The price I was quoted was far in excess of the original number and I told them I was quoted much less on the call line. I was told I would have to speak with a manager to settle that, and that one would call me back, hopefully within the hour, but definitely before the end of the day. I never got that call back, so I called the next day and went through the entire process again, this time being put on hold to speak with a manager. I was on hold for 20 minutes to finally reach someone who told me they would not be able to honor the price I was quoted, but that they would look into why I was given such a low number. The decision was made at that point for me to move to a single treatment and not be on an annual plan. Still not the best outcome, but at least I was making progress in getting automatic payments shut off from my card. I was also told then to schedule my 2 week follow up which was included in the price of the original treatment. The manager set up my follow up and I told him I would have to make arrangements to be there for it because I was supposed to be out of town that day, but I wanted to get it taken care of. You can probably guess that no one showed up today for that two week follow up. I called again and spoke with a different manager who informed me that, he reviewed the notes and was able to find where I was told I had an appointment today by a different manager, but that was never scheduled and they would not be coming out. Again, this is all the work of the managers, who you would hope are a little more on the ball than your average customer service representative. On top of all of that, I really needed the service today because I continue to have a problem with earwigs (in fact I have killed over 30 in the last two weeks). I am killing quite a few of them but am yet to find a single dead one from the first treatment. Poor customer service all around and they clearly don't care about honoring their promise of guaranteed satisfaction. I will now be trying to find a different service provider in my area, hopefully one that shows up when they say they will be there and honors the prices they quote over the phone. EDITED TO ADD: Per the comment below posted by the business, I called the to inquire about their offer to “make it right”. I was told that I would have to have that conversation with a manager who was not available. I left my contact information and was told they would call me back on Monday. It’s now Tuesday afternoon and they have still not reached out. I will update with additional information if they end up contacting me.

We have used Orkin for at least 6 years and they have done a great job! We have mosquito service too because we have a wooded lot and it has helped so much!! We love our rep Wendy!
