We had Orkin come take a look in our attic for mice. We knew we had a problem but we’ve been tackling it. We already had 2 quotes to remove insulation and add blow in. Kinda of un related, but not completely unrelated. Anyway, he tells us we have an active infestation and I inform him about our prior quotes to re-insulate. He states we also do that. I asked for a quote. I tell him what my quotes are so he know where he needs to be at. He follows up on Monday with a quote that is double. I explained to him there is no way I can pay double what 2 other companies are quoting. He says, well my manager wants to keep the guys busy so he believes he can get really close on the price of the other 2 companies. At this point, I know he is adding a crazy markup. Btw, I’m in sales. He asks about the guards for the siding. I told him I would do that my self. At this point he pretty well hangs up the phone. And never sent the report he said he would send. Not all salesman are created equal.

Pretty much scammed out of roughly $400. During the initial call the company informed me that they'd be able to come out and take care of my mice issue within just a few weeks. This initial consult cost $270 and they even guaranteed me results. Their solution was to just lay down glue mouse traps all over my house and have me swap them out if the traps caught any mice. These traps cost 25 cents each at any hardware store or Amazon. They didn't bother coming out to check on them. The traps did not catch anything and I had some small camera set up where I saw the mice just avoiding the traps altogether. I called a month later since I was charged for a visit. I was placed on hold where the automated voicemail message informed me how Orkin guarantees results. I told them none of the traps had caught anything and I wanted my money back. I was passed from "manager" to "manager", first Wade, then Jason, then someone mysterious who's name they can't give me and basically given the brush off. I was also told to ready my contract where it states "Orkin does not guarantee results". So essentially the sales pitch, their automated voicemail lies directly to customers so that they can just scam money off of customers. Save your money and go to a local place, or just do what I did and place down some of the classic wooden traps and catch the mice yourself. I'm sure the same can be done for other pests. I'm never going with Orkin again, and this review is my only recourse since Orkin doesn't return my calls.

Our Orkin technician always comes on time. With my ,property being 55+ years, we needed a good company that has had experience working on older homes which are more likely to have spiders and silverfish. Our technician is very experienced and we are very happy with the Orkin service.

The guys are so knowledgeable, they care about you and your issues. I've been with Orkin for many years. I had an issue with fleas one time and my regular service guy wasn't available, so the manager came within an hour and took care of the fleas. I was so thankful and am is thankful for the job always well done. I would and do recommend them to anyone. Thanks guys your much appreciated.

Marcus and Terry have both been excellent they do a excellent job they're very thorough they explain to me what's going on they put new traps down again cuz I still have a few out here in the garage. They are so professional and they are so polite and they are very good and they're reasonable. I recommend them to anyone especially Marcus and Terry.

I love their communication, and reminders. I use them as ongoing pest control. I called for emergency spider control and their response time was next day . I was sold, the customer service person on the phone was excellent, very understanding and patient to my questions. She was knowledgeable excellent service. Bryan came out and did a very efficient job of spraying around house inside and out. He placed safe traps that would be out of sight of children and our cat. And he was very knowledgeable about next steps! Can’t go wrong with this company!

The Orkin Technician, Marcus. Was awesome! From the moment he arrived he asked questions but also listened carefully to my responses. Marcus also explained, in detailed, his inspection process as he walked through each room, garage, and the perimeter of our townhouse. I really appreciated his thorough inspection and felt confident his final report was accurate as he took pictures and took care of and provided remedies for the problem areas. Richard Flores was the inspector that came. Upon meeting him, he was polite, respectful, and professional. Along with that he's also a United States Marine (as am I). He told me how the treatment would be done, answered all questions that I had and was very thorough in his inspection. Soon after, Daniel Ellis came to do the treatment. Before he started, he explained the contract as well as going over all of the details that will be performed for my home. He did everything that was required with a very good attitude, professional manner, and a good sense of humor. I will recommend Orkin to my friends if needed.
