This review is in no way indicative of the service I receive from my normal Orkin technician. He is professional and reliable. It is from the ridiculously unethical & deceitful way that Orkin is telling its customers that rates are increasing by ridiculous percentages. They are leaving that up to the technicians to tell clients on the day that they are scheduled service, minutes before they do their service. We received nothing in writing with a warning/head’s up/option to adjust service based on our budget. Since this is how they have opted to treat their loyal customers of over 20 years, I’ll be looking elsewhere for that service.

We have not had a very good experience with this organization. From the start they that didn't communicate with us about the cost or the contract its self. That being said they are trying to make things right now. From the beginning we have needed them to come more often. I have had to call them out before the normal appointment time. I think that they are finally getting the ideal that we need them more but we'll see what happens next.

Shared my disgust with their bad reviews. But with how many reviews they had I figured I’d give them a call and talk first. I was assured this is how the process would go I was told they would fill holes quarter size and inspect every area of the home In and out. The gentleman who came said he didn’t need to go In The crawlspace space for this reason or that reason and then he wouldn’t go all the way in the attic. Not to sound rude but don’t send a bigger man to do a small persons job. He didn’t even walk around the whole house. Terrible and a waste of money. He forced me to pay right then in person. Id had rather spent 4x this price and hired their competitor from the beginning. 122 years of experience in laziness I guess.

Norm was very nice and professional and was very thorough. He explained everything clearly and gave us a detailed explanation of the cause of out pest problem and how he was going to fix it. I tried another company and they didn't do anything that I could've done myself. Orkin made me feel like they actually did something to free my home of our mice problem.

Let me tell you I would never use this company. I woke up this morning being charged $321.99 for a service that never happened. I call the Merrillville office which is my local office speak with customer care she tells me she has spoken with her supervisor who told her that he does nit have time to take my call. Customer service is very unprofessional.They have called and advised that they have refunded me my money back but I wake up this morning and my account is overdrawn. Who is going to pay for this? Had they not extracted funds for a job they didn't do on the first place I wouldn't have any issues. Orkin has actually ruined my life. Who debits people account for services that have not been provided than says ol well we refunded you it going to take 3 to 5 business days for the funds to post back but because my account has overdraft due to their negligence than its oh well not my problem. This is a horrible company with horrible customer service

Excellent and polite technicians. It has definitely helped to keep the bugs out of the house. Before we bought our house it sat vacant for a while so the sac spiders moved in. We saw so many throughout the first year and couldn't take it anymore. The first one I saw crawing on my bed I knew we needed help to eliminate them. The dust they put along the ceiling helped a ton to get them under control. We see them occasionally at spring and fall but not nearly as many as that first year.

Truthfully, we will probably never not have Orkin. Brian is hands down the best! Always on time, always very professional and helpful, always respectful in regards to the elements and helping to keep our floors clean. Very happy with our service and hope to always have Brian as our technician.

Our guy is always punctual. He’s been doing it for over 20 years I believe. He does a great job helping to prevent bees, wasps, ants, and spiders. Let’s me know what I can do in between treatments to help minimize these problems which is very helpful. He is friendly and easy to talk to and very respectful of how he does his business.
