We provided restoration services for the Altoona, PA Terminix location at the request of their manager, Art. He assured us that payment would be made upon completion. However, the credit card provided was declined due to insufficient funds. Art later explained that the card limit had been reduced and asked us to run smaller charges, promising to follow up with updated payment information. Despite multiple follow-ups by phone, text, and email, he has not responded. This level of unresponsiveness is disappointing and unprofessional, especially from a national company. We performed the work in good faith and expected to be paid accordingly. At this point, we are left with no choice but to pursue legal action. Art — do the right thing and pay us. Honor the commitment that was made. We hope this is not reflective of how Terminix conducts business overall, but based on this experience, we would advise others to proceed with caution. I was satisfied with my service from Brian Dunio, he answered all the questions I had. He was quick but efficient and explained what would happen during the follow up visit. I feel confident my house has been protected from the bugs that have been getting in!

I bought service from them and wanted to do their quarterly plan. I had ONE visit from them in the 4 months. Everytime I would schedule for someone to come out and check traps and stuff they would mark the job complete without coming out. They’d also call me and say they can’t magically AFTER I took the day off from work. Cancelled service almost a month ago and still being charged. Their customer service department doesn’t listen, refuses to cancel, and refuses to refund. Do not go through Terminix. You’re better off using small local businesses.

Terminix sent Michael Holland over to my home to do my service and was a breath of fresh air. He was very professional and such a good guy overall. He spent a Hours and double checking everything before he left. He came back out for a second time and again gave me nothing but a great personality and A+ service. Go Mike! I'd refer him to any and everyone!

Edit for the response from Terminix - no offense, but the review was literally a complaint that I had to double-check work and make multiple phone calls and now you want me to reach out again? I'm not trying to do your work - if I had wanted to do that, then I'd have saved a few thousand dollars and done it myself. Also, the day that I posted this was the day that they were supposed to finish the first job - and I can STILL see light out of the basement window that I complained about the first time. So, technically the job is still not done from the first day, and since I actually DO have to reach out yet again, if you want to discuss this review, you reach out to me. I had higher expectations due to the cost of the service, so maybe I'm being too picky - but during the estimate, my husband was told that items in the attic would be moved out of the way to spray the insulation by their staff, but when they came to do it - they asked my husband (and called me) to ask why these items weren't already moved. Then there were two things on the yellow slip they said were done that were not done and I had to call about. These were scheduled to be completed after i called about them. The routine guy that came was good, no complaints there, but he couldn't finish the two items missed. I shouldn't have had to call nearly as many times as I did. I've talked to them - and they've taken care of the issues, but the extra communication should have been unnecessary. Between the price and then me needing to call to get the original job completed should have been unnecessary when a comma is involved in the cost, and I don't feel i should need to be double-checking work.

Brian is absolutely amazing. He was on time and so respectful. He answered all my questions and concerns. I have a verity of pets including the feeders for my snake and beardies. Brian took extra care to insure their safety and health. We also got termite stations installed as a preventative. Brain ensured they were level to the ground and well placed.

The ease of use for online systems is a great perk when setting up an initial appointment. Brian was on time, thorough, and answered any questions we had. It was very reassuring knowing that any issues we had in the future would be dealt with by trustworthy and competent technicians. terrible customer service and fraud. i have a vacation home and they refuse to contact me to schedule the appointment for when I'll be there. When I go online to reschedule there are no available days/times. June 2024 i canceled the appointment. they showed up anyway. I have it on video/security cameras: the tech has the spray can in his hand for less than 1 min. Then he got in his truck and left. Charged me $146
