***Edit- the Lancaster branch manager has since called me back & apologized for the lack of communication. He has recently transferred from another branch & is working out the kinks in this area & training staff. I asked for a refund for this last years contract since I prepay for that year & we did not have our inspection or any visits during that time. He agreed to refund me which goes a long way in my book for his attempts to try to make it right. Because of this, I will keep an eye on reviews here to see if their service gets better & will maybe consider trying them again in the future. I wish the manager success in improving the branch. ***Original review: I have had termite inspections every year since 1992. Today I cancelled my service contract after 34 years as a customer. That’s not an exxageration. Every year they show up, no phone call, no text, NO notification of the appt. Spoke to customer service many times about this. All of my contact info is correct, yet I am continually NOT notified of my appts. They showed up unannounced on Saturday before the big snow storm. We were outside splitting wood and the tech walked up on us on our property startling us. I wouldn’t allow him to do the inspection due to NO notice or contact by Terminix & I asked him to have the branch manger contact me, but they never did. Also called customer service several times over the past few days to address this & asked to have branch manger contact me, but they never did. Terrible communication all around on so many levels. Tech says one thing, customer service says another. A local plumber has better communication than this nationwide company!

We did not have a good experience with Terminix, did not get rid of the infestation at all. Signed up for a 2 year payment contract for 1 year of services. Had to hire a thermal remediation company to come in to get rid of the infestation. The infestation is completely gone since having the thermal treatment performed 2 weeks ago. I have emailed this office requesting a phone call or an email from the manager and I have not heard anything.

I am so happy with the fantastic job terminix did at my home getting rid of mice that were in my attic at our york pa home. Zach was awesome and my family is so happy with the project ❤️ that he made me a forever customer for sure. The mice in our ceiling and attic insulation had been keeping us up at night and Terminix diagnosed the problem quickly during their inspection. The crews were quick and very professional in sealing up the house and making sure all access points were sealed from future entry. The attic insulation clean up crew did an incredible job removing the attic insulation and replacing with new pest treated attic insulation to complete the job. I would highly recommend Zach if you have any mice in your attic in York PA 17401.

My Terminix tech, Jim, is great. He communicates with me always, before and after treatment. He always inquires if I am having any specific new bug problem. He is professional and intelligent but very personable. I hope he continues to be my technician.

The only reason this isn't a 1 is because of Eugene and the corporate call center agents. The tech assigned to my house kept lying about coming to do our service and would say we aren't home. I work from home and have a disabled family member. Someone is ALWAYS home. Fine, just get us a new tech who wants to do his job. They did that for a few rounds until suddenly the old one comes and lies again. After we got him removed the first time management was supposed to contact us and never did. After the second time they were supposed to contact us to ensure us it would not happen again or we would cancel. Still have not heard from them. Couldn't even muster a phone call not to lose a customer. What a weird way to do business.

Had bee issues in our home for a couple days. Unfortunately they came in Sunday night and nobody was able to come out on the weekend, which we understood. Monday morning we had a sales person with Terminix come to discuss it, and he tried to see if anyone could come that day and they couldn’t. We tried to be patient and they said someone would come first thing Tuesday morning. It’s Tuesday and nobody ever came. Very frustrating. We have 3 young children all under 5. I am also allergic to bees. We felt bad cause the sales person was very nice, but the follow through to completion is lacking. Please go with another company if you are looking for pest control services. We had a great experience with a different company who communicated well and followed through well.

I had a scheduling issue that needed to be resolved. The customer service rep I spoke to yesterday was very helpful and honest. I greatly appreciated that. Zach Styer, my tech, came through today by providing excellent customer service. He really went out of his way to help. I am very happy and greatly appreciate his efforts. Techs and service were great. They did inspection on Friday and service completed on Monday. Jason was very kind and knowledgeable when he did our inspection. I did not get to meet Antoine in person as we were away when service was completed but he sent me a very detailed report via email of everything that was done. Overall, great experience and would recommend.
