Original review SAT AUG 23 Updated MON AUG 25 I had Terminix in Florida, and they were great with the price ($35/month) and service, which was prompt. After I moved to upstate NY about 2 months ago, I re-established my service with them. On the phone I was quoted $63+ tax, which I wasn't happy with, seeing how it was nearly double what I had been paying in Florida. So the agent dropped my price to around $52+ tax. I received my initial service on JUL 21 from their tech. On AUG 21, I received my monthly bill, which totaled $67.89 after tax. So I called to question the charge. The first agent I spoke to said she would only be able to drop it down to $57+tax, then transferred me over to customer retention. There I spoke to a very nice woman who dropped the monthly service charge to $50/month plus gave me a $10 credit for my trouble. Then something strange happened. I had already been scheduled for a follow-up service call the following day (FRI AUG 22), however the tech no-showed. I checked online and saw that the appointment had been moved to SAT AUG 23. I figured that maybe they had gotten busy or the tech had called out sick - something like that. Saturday morning and the tech no-showed again. I went back online to look, and no appointment listed as rescheduled, and nothing in the service history except for the JUL 21 service call. Later that morning, I got an e-mail from Terminix titled "Your Terminix Service has been canceled". It read: "Hi Tony Cristaldi, This is a confirmation that your request to cancel the above Terminix® services has been processed. You can reference your service agreement number as your cancellation number." So I called to find out what happened. An e-mail was sent out on my behalf to the local office, but nothing could be done until MON AUG 25 (today). Today I spoke to customer retention and everything has been taken care of in a prompt manner. My account was reinstated at the price I was promised on THU AUG 21 ($50/month), along with the $10 credit, and my service call is being rescheduled for later this week. I am very truly appreciative of the effort Terminix made to take care of this mistake promptly, and look forward to receiving the great pest control service from the company that I have in the past.

The gentleman that came out to take care of the wasp problem was very nice. He explained to me everything he was going to do. He asked if I had any concerns or questions for him. My concern was whether or not the treatment was going to harm my dog. He explained to me that it wouldn’t . Very professional. I would recommend your company to others.

Technician was a no call no show for an 8:00am to 12:00pm window. When I called in at 12:00pm to see what the ETA was, it turns out the technician cancelled the appointment without my knowledge and never notified me. Do not waste your time with this company.

Customer service was terrible. Said they were coming between 8-12. No one came. Didn't call us or nothing. We were leaving for an appointment at 2 and the tech pulled up. We told him that we had to go could he come tomorrow he said yes gave us a time . No one came or called. Finally we called there after waiting all day and was we were scheduled for Saturday. We canceled them.

The worst service experience I’ve ever had — completely unreliable and unsafe. We scheduled a bee hive removal with Terminix on May 9th, and no one showed up — not even a phone call. I had to call back and reschedule for May 14th, but instead, the company rescheduled it themselves to May 16th without notifying me. Again, no one showed up. I kept following up with customer service and finally got it rescheduled for May 21st — still, no technician arrived. I called yet again, and it was rescheduled to May 22nd. Finally, after all that, someone came — after 5:00 PM — only because I called to escalate. That’s nearly two weeks of broken appointments with zero communication. When the technician arrived, he tried to remove the hive (which was on the second-story roof peak) using a very long stick, but he left the top portion of the stick lodged on my roof. He told me someone with a lift or large ladder would come the next day to remove it. That never happened. I followed up again on May 27th, emphasized multiple times that the stick was high on the two-story ridge and posed a safety hazard, and they still assigned it to someone who didn’t even have the right ladder. That person marked the job "done" without removing anything. After nearly three weeks, five reschedules, multiple phone calls, broken promises, and now a dangerous stick left on my roof, I can honestly say this is the most unprofessional and negligent service I’ve ever received. Terminix not only wasted my time, but they left me to deal with the risk and cleanup. Avoid this company if you expect basic communication, follow-through, or safety.
