I recently had Terminix complete a rodent exclusion/rodent guard installation at my commercial office property in Avon, and I have to specifically recognize Rich, the lead installer, for the outstanding work he performed. From day one, Rich went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. He was professional, detail-oriented, respectful of the property, and extremely hardworking. He came back multiple times to ensure every area was properly sealed and tightened up, even working on a rainy Saturday to make sure the job met his standards. That level of accountability and work ethic is rare today. When I first met Rob from Terminix, he told me he was assigning one of his best installers to the project, and he absolutely delivered on that promise. This was not an easy job, and as a commercial property owner, I can confidently say I’m very pleased with the overall result. What impressed me most was that Rich approached the work the same way I would have myself if I had the tools and equipment to do it. That says a lot. Terminix should be grateful to have employees like him representing their company. Now we’ll let the exclusion system do its job over time, but based on the quality of the installation and attention to detail, I feel very confident in the work that was completed.

Kareem W is so wonderful to work with. I was concerned when we had to get another inspector and he set my mind at ease right away. He has a great demeanor and friendly. When I called for an in between visit, he prioritized my request and came bright and early. He listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. He even took the time to go to other areas of the house I did not mention. It’s never easy dealing with pest issues, and Kareem left making me feel better and protected. I definitely recommend and look forward to working with him again.

I called Terminix to come out and handle a bee issue. The inspection was scheduled for the following day between 10–12. Prior to the appointment, the inspector called to let me know they might be closer to 1 PM since they were finishing a job in Brooklyn, CT and I’m located in Windsor Locks. In my opinion, that was great customer service on the inspector’s part, but poor scheduling by the company. Around 12:45, I received another call from the inspector saying they were just leaving and would be about 49 minutes away. I agreed, as I needed the job done. They ultimately arrived around 2:05 PM. I moved forward with the inspection and paid for the service. The inspector then told me the tech would return the following day to complete the exterior work to make up for the scheduling issues, which I agreed to. The next day, the appointment window was scheduled for 12–2. I got home around 4:30 PM and no one had shown up. I called customer service and was given the runaround, then told a manager would call me back. After waiting over an hour with no response, I called back and canceled the service. I was offered $50 off and a new appointment for the following day, but I declined. At that point, it wasn’t about the discount, I needed a company I could trust to show up when they say they will. Lastly I want to state that the inspector had amazing customer service given the position his company put him in. He went extra miles to try and resolve the poor customer service that terminex provided but at the end of the day it wasn’t enough.

Blas was very kind and informative. We're new to CT and didn't anticipate mice, especially so soon. He explained the inspection results and confirmed my suspicions. The proposal was not as much as I had expected, which was nice. He gave a good breakdown of the different options. One thing was added when I went to sign that was not previously discussed, but he was quick to respond with an explanation and apology when I asked about it. No harm, no foul. I was also able to schedule services to start within a few days which is fantastic. Inspection was free, cost of services depends on many factors but i feel for pest and rodent it was certainly priced reasonably.

Have always had great service from our tech, Jason Murphy. Always professional and has solved our issues quickly over the past 16 years. I do think it’s an expensive service, but overall worth it to have a tech that we can trust.

Mr. Kareem came out to our house on a Saturday. He was professional and kind. He was very knowledgeable about the services we needed. He offered practical solutions for small improvements that we could do around the house to further protect our house in addition to completing a variety of solutions and protective measures to the house. His attention to detail went above and beyond He answered all my questions with information that will help me protect my home and family. Thank you so much for your advice and graciousness. We had an initial inspection with Jovon (might be spelling it wrong) and he was very welcoming and informative. He broke down our options and also provided helpful advice. Then we were visited by two other termix employees to set traps and complete the sealing outside the house. One was Gary and he was very nice and knowledgeable. He explained what he was doing and informed us when he will be back. Javier completing the sealing outside the house and he called and explained what he was going. Then he came in the house to double check traps. Everyone was respectful with such a sensitive situation and made sure we were made aware of our options. They completed their task in a timely manner.

Horrible! Their salesman at the door told me the service is for $100 only. And they kept deducting money from my card monthly. When I inquired I was told -...
