“I am just blown away by the service we got from Powell Termite & Pest Control! My wife and I recently bought a house. A few months later, we noticed the telltale signs of termites coming from the molding of our backdoor. Our detached garage had a fumigation sign stating that Powell treated it for termites about a year before we bought our house. On a lark we called them and asked if there was any kind of guarantee that would extend to us. They said that the garage would be covered under a three year warranty (yes!) even though it was purchased by the previous homeowners. However, since only the garage was treated and not the house itself, our problem would not be covered (oh no!). "Go figure," I thought. "Surely this is going end up costing an arm and a leg." But nevertheless, we had the very polite receptionist scheduled an appointment. "At least the inspection would be free," I thought. Our inspector's name was Bryant. Right away I could tell that he was very experienced. Super knowledgeable guy! He got to work inspecting around the outside of the house, shimmying about inside our attic, and literally crawling around on his hands and knees underneath the house. He spent over an hour doing all of this. In fact, while he was poking around under the house he noticed that the bathtub pipe had come detached--causing all of the water from our shower to drain into our crawlspace--and he fixed it for us. I'm so glad he caught this when he did because it could have turned into a serious problem. We'd noticed that the bathroom pipes had been emitting an odor recently but had no idea why, and were fixin' to call a plumber. No need now. Problem solved! After all that, he determined that the termites were exclusively isolated solely in the backdoor molding (probably living there inside the molding all along from back when it was purchased at the hardware store). He removed the molding for us and then said that no spraying would be necessary. He said some termite companies will scare you into thinking that you have to spend over a $1,000 to tent the whole house no matter what, but in this case that wouldn't be necessary. So all of his work came entirely free of charge. I couldn't believe it! I really don't ever bother writing online reviews, but Bryant was such a knowledgeable, honest, and helpful guy that I would be remiss if I didn't get the word out. If you're looking for a reputable, reliable termite control control company, Powell Termite & Pest Control is it!”
