I contacted Orkin due to noticing a few wasps in my house in the winter. They scheduled a time to come out. The next day, the local Orkin rep called and rescheduled as they weren’t available at the original time scheduled. When the technician finally came to my home A few days later, he didn’t bring a ladder tall enough to go into my attic so he had to reschedule For the following week and suggested he bring the inspector the next time too. The next visit, both the technician and the inspector came and shared findings. They sprayed one wasp nest And suggested it would be best to do the treatment in spring when they are active. Therefore, the full treatment was not done however, after they left, I was charged the full price. I contacted Orkin, Who suggested sending someone out to spray around the outside of the house and inside which contradicted the technician and inspectors recommendation. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Company changed/canceled my appointment three different times. The cost is also much higher than local servicers. They also told me I needed to have them come back seven times, when the other company said one time and it should be good.

I was surprised how affordable this really was. Spiders have been a issues thus year. Kaylee came out very nice and knowledgeable. I feel very confident that my issue will be taken care of.

My mother initially hired Orkin to address a rodent problem at her home. While the initial treatment seemed promising, we had to discontinue service due to escalating costs. What started as a one-time treatment quickly became a subscription model requiring repeated visits that simply weren't financially sustainable for a senior on a fixed income. However, my main concern involves a missing item. As someone who lives out of state, I visit infrequently. During one visit, I was going through childhood memories and left my original Gameboy Pokemon Blue cartridge on the nightstand in the treated room. When I returned on my next visit, the game was gone. The only person who had access to that specific room between my visits was the Orkin technician. While I cannot definitively prove what happened, the timing and access make this situation very concerning. This was not just any item - it was a cherished childhood possession with significant sentimental value. I'm deeply disappointed by both the aggressive upselling to expensive recurring services and the apparent lack of trustworthiness of staff. I would recommend thoroughly securing any valuables before allowing technicians into your home and carefully considering whether the subscription model is truly necessary for your situation. Cannot recommend based on our experience.

Robert was perhaps the best contractor I have ever had at my house. He was patient, explained each step thoroughly. He gave me options, and gave logical recommendations about what I should accept vs what I should wait on. I cannot say enough good things about the service he provided today.

Called Orkin, got an appointment within a reasonable timeframe, the day before the appointment they gave me a 2-hour window for when they would be here and they were here when they said they would be. My Orkin man was Derrick B., very nice young man. He explained the process, told me how long it would take, asked me if I had any questions and I had a couple; he answered them thoroughly and he explained the 30-day warranty to me and he was done. If you want to get speedy thorough pest control service with a guarantee then call your Orkin Man - I’m glad I did!!!

Same day service is a blessing! Called very early and they arrived hours later to take care of wasp nests and in ground yellow jacket nest. Prices are very fair and Cody explained everything nicely, answered my questions. I’m continuing with their monthly maintenance plan! Thanks Orkin!

I am extremely disappointed with the service i received. I had mice and had an inspector come in, Robert Lee, who suggested some work to exclude mice from the gone. Things were fine initially and i had no mice issue from December 2024 until may 2025. However i was supposed to have Bob stopping by with a lifetime warranty on the fiberglass insulation but he air coming. He made appointments worth me and never showed up, never responded to me to explain or reschedule, and then completely quit responding. Now i have a significant mouse issue again and have to start all over with another company. I am looking into this further but intend to warn as many people as i can about what happens with orkin after the uninitiated couple of visits. Very disappointing.

Landon did a great job of explaining the process and the products he was using. He also told me what to expect for the treatment and how long to avoid the treated areas for my family and pets.
