I have called orkin for inspection got charged $120.00 dollars and a tech professional came out the next day then she told me that she can spray my whole house inside and out the stuff she has in her vehicle. I know it was a lie and the lady told me that they can charge me additional $45.00 dollars to come out to spray for the first treatment. I have called the tech and left a message on her voicemail twice and also send her two text messages on the phone number she told me to call her from and also I have spoke to her over the phone and she claims that she was outside of my house but I had two witnesses that they did not hear nobody knocking on my door or even she claims she called me and I have my phone on I had phone calls and stuff from orkin and I have told talk to them. I think ORKIN is a Scam and they want my money And Charged my 120.00 for the first time and as soon as she was done ORKIN took my money out of my debit card the same day! I also called Roanoke Virginia office to report this lady and the receptionist to let them know they scare me $120 Plus wanting $45 for extra spray when I know it's better than that. I had told them what my experience is at home and I think that they're wanting just the money and not do their job at all!

This company has bad service. My experience with them is less than stellar. They come on a certain day whether you are home or not. Then when you call to say you are out of town, they state that the service provider has to come whether you are there or not, so this to me is unacceptable. After I arrived back home, I called them to come and do the interior of my home and they wanted to argue that it had already been done. They I called back and spoke with someone else who finally agreed to send someone out to my home, but when they arrived, they were told to only replace the bug glue boards, and not to service the interior. After many more phone calls. They finally did send someone to take care of the inside spraying. NOT HAPPY WITH ORKIN'S SERVICE!!! STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!! RUDE PERSONNEL!!! Update! Today I got a call from the Branch Mgr stating I have been billed in error for my last service ( I received no service that day) and they were going to remove the balance. He did apologize for the service I had received. I told him I appreciated his call and at least he did contact me.

Orkin did our crawlspace encapsulation and also treated our house for insects for a few months. I honestly wish I could give them a better review, because everyone we spoke with directly was incredibly nice and seemed honest, but at every step, and for an almost 6 month period working with them, they were absolutely awful at communicating. Whether it was not showing up when they were scheduled to without communicating, ignoring our availability for service scheduling, or failing to communicate about what status our crawlspace job was in, they disappointed us every time. Team members contradicted each other on what pest activity there was in our house and clearly there was zero oversight or communication between the staff. It was a completely inconsistent, frustrating process working with them that left my wife and I a bad taste.

Auston is my go to guy he’s very respectful and very thorough with everything and inspects and asks questions about what his clients have seen in there home does a great job and handles the problem when it needs to handled. Since I live in a trailer park and in and out residential movers I started seeing unwanted critters in my home and called Orkin stat since Austin’s visit and treating my home with the upmost respect and value and went above and beyond I have yet to see anything in my home since. I’m very thankful for everything that Auston has done for me and my babies. Definitely a must call if you have or suspect or just don’t want to have critter crawlers in your home.

So far about as unreliable a service as could possibly be. Not one time other than the very first time they came here have they done what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. And because of the location we need a 24-hour notice. And never on time. 2 weeks late this time showed up unannounced no one was here. Spoke with a regional manager and he is trying to rectify the situation. If he does in the situation gets better I will change this review. But as of right now I'm ready to cancel my service. Going to give them one more shot. They wanted

5 stars. The process was simple and easy Ben came out to inspect for termites and came up with a solution. He pointed out each area of concern and provided pictures as well. Dion and Prince came to the house to work and were professional and got the job done. Definitely recommend.

I purchased a home in August 2025 that had an active Orkin service plan dating back to 1974. During negotiations, the seller represented the termite plan and warranty as transferable, which influenced the value of the purchase. I called Orkin’s Roanoke office to transfer the plan into my name, and Olivia confirmed everything was set up and collected my information. I explained that we planned to sell the property and wanted to maintain continuous coverage for the future buyer. In early February 2026, I called to schedule the annual inspection prior to listing. Olivia answered again and confirmed she was the same person I had spoken with before, stating she remembered me or had notes. She then informed me the plan had been cancelled for nonpayment. I never received a bill, notice, email, or phone call requesting payment, even though the annual cost was only $25. When I questioned this, I was told a supervisor would call me, and then I was abruptly hung up on. No one ever called. I contacted Orkin’s corporate number and was told no one could assist me without a new inspection. The home had already been inspected in August before closing, but I agreed in order to reinstate the warranty. The inspector acknowledged prior termite treatment but said re treatment would be required because he could not verify the treatment date. The quoted cost was hundreds of dollars. Once again, I was told a supervisor would call me. Again, no one called. Every person I spoke with either could not help or pushed the issue elsewhere. I was not asking to keep the old $25 rate. I was trying to maintain a warranty that had been paid on for decades. Being hung up on, never receiving promised callbacks, and being told no one could help was extremely frustrating. This experience reflects very poorly on both the Roanoke office and Orkin’s customer support.

Ethan has been outstanding with our services! We have had no issues since we started getting our house sprayed by him! He comes out every time we call if we see any unwanted insects in our house. He’s very thorough and efficient! The office staff are always very nice and understanding of every need we have! We will never choose any where else for our unwanted insects!
