Due to the cold weather and being out in the country, he is concentrating on keeping the rodent population in check and so far he's done an excellent job with no activity apparent at this time.

Based on these reviews, my first experience doesn’t seem to be typical but I would be in remiss if I didn’t share mine. This was for the Harrisonburg VA branch. Called them to come out for some bees that were making a home on the side of my home. They came out and sprayed something that didn’t work, so I called them to come back out, and whatever they did the second time, also didn’t work. Wasted nearly 400 dollars on that. So I bought a ladder ( it was on the outside of the second story of my house) and a couple cans of wasp and bee killer with the long shot spray. Both of which were cheaper than the service and it took care of them within 2 days. Oh well live and learn right? However, I also signed up for them to come out monthly to treat the inside and outside of my home. Apparently it was for every other month, but on the phone I was told it was monthly. First month the guy showed up about an hour and a half outside of the quoted time frame, and didn’t even come inside. Did knock. Nothing. Called them to have someone come back out to do the inside like I paid for. No one ever came. So I decided I wanted to cancel the monthly (or as I found out, bi-monthly) service. I don’t recall ever signing a contract with them but maybe I did? Probably my mistake and I’ll take that. I lightly contested it and the woman on the phone was absolutely condescending and rude even going so far as to speak slowly and annoyed, the way you would to a child, when I asked any question. Told me I signed a contract and to deal with it, only to then go ahead and cancel it just like that. It was clear she just wanted to be an ass to someone in that moment because her attitude, and the result of the call didn’t correspond with one another. I can’t imagine why an adult would think it’s appropriate to speak to another adult in that way only to do a 180 and cancel the contract anyways. My experience doesn’t seem to be typical, but it was what it was and so there’s no way I’ll be giving them my business again.

I’ve used ORKIN for their routine maintenance plan for years and they have been great. I have had the same technician throughout and the consistency and trustworthiness has been a huge benefit of using this company. He calls before going out and provides an update if I’m unable to be present during the service. They have tackled everything from mice to insects and everything in-between. If we have an issue in between the regularly scheduled treatments they are always accommodating and will promptly address. Absolutely recommend for your personal property and for peace of mind with your rentals.

Had a carpenter ant problem wirh my newly constructed log cabin home. George came and found the nest and did treatments inside and outside. It took a few weeks for all of them to die off and we now only have the occasional dead carpenter ant. George was very thorough and did an awesome job. Thanks Orkin
