1st timer here but the guy did a good job at explaining what he was doing and walking me through what steps to do. And where he was putting bait at. Would recommend to anyone. Jen came out today and did an amazing job. She went through my whole house from top to bottom and sprayed where she needed to and put traps where they was needed. I would recommend JEN TO ANYONE.

Initial meeting with a friendly provider Chandler! I will follow up on services later in the game. He has a great and confident attitude. He assures me that Orkin is dedicated to getting rid of a biting fly issue. I believe his word at this time…. He is very kind and patient and listened to my long story:)

Alex and everyone at Orkin, who has come out to protect and treat our home for pests, has always been professional, courteous, efficient, and timely. They always ask questions to treat for specific areas or pests, and they are very respectul of our property. They even wear shoe coverings/booties, which we really appreciate! When we saw pests inbetween our regular appointments, they came out to treat for them free of charge as well. Thank you, Orkin!

Called and set up an appointment for a set time. Took off from work to be there and half an hour after the scheduled time they had still not shown up or even called. I called in to the main number just to verify to see if I remembered correctly if the appointment was for that day and got placed on hold for more time than necessary to answer if I had the appointment. Not professional, was talked to nicely enough while on the phone but still not okay.

A representative came to my home for an inspection. I showed her my concerns. She set up a treatment plan. She was asked if she found any other infestations, she said no, all she needed to do is show they are present. She told us she did no other looking for infestations after I showed her the one I located. She did take some pictures and measurements to compile a treatment plan. I found this rather disappointing. It seems she was only interested is selling the product and not concerned about doing a full inspection to find any and all infestation damage. I was asked to sign a treatment agreement and a payment plan. To this date I still have not seen any report of what she found. Again, I find this very disappointing. One positive note is all employees I had interactions with were polite and courteous.

Used a better bait last time, but was a different tech….. this time used a bait that has been in effective since starting treatment . I wish they would have better communication! I have been waiting 4 days now for a call back to talk to the technician that serviced my house. When I call they just keep saying we’ll have him call but I don’t get a call… really frustrating!

Orkin Told Me My Home Has Termites - It Doesn’t Dear reader, if you do not want to read this complaint, here are the highlights: - I was scammed into paying for a termite infestation that did not exist. - Always (always) get a second opinion before handing over money. - Hire a local company whose lifeblood is their reputation. Before I begin, I need to preface the fact that I had a team of contractors weatherizing my home during the week of Orkin’s visit. Every one of these contractors were on time every day; professional in their work and customer service, and immaculate in keeping my home and property clean while they made their way through my attic, basement, crawlspaces, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas. On two occasions, they sat patiently by waiting for Orkin to show (not show). In comparison, they made Orkin look like the amateur operation it is. But there’s more… - Orkin scheduled an appointment to inspect my home, allowing themselves a two hour window to arrive. My assigned representative, Brad, completely missed his appointment (no show). 20 minutes after the fact, Brad called to reschedule. - Second appointment latewr that day: Brad arrived 30 minutes late and reeking to high heaven of cigarette smoke. Prior to Brad beginning his inspection, I did inform him that my house had been successfully treated for termites many years ago (1990s), and that there were old termite tubules still in place within the structure of the house from that time. Before the contractors insulated over any of these tubules, I wanted to be sure they were in fact not active. - After completing an inspection of my house, Brad gave me the news not one single homeowner ever wants to here: “you have termites.” - I issued a check for $1,700 and made an appointment for first thing the following morning so that Orkin could install their traps before the contractors arrived. - The following morning, neither Brad nor anyone else from Orkin showed up. When my contractors arrived, they politely waited on the sidelines waiting for Orkin until I finally gave them the go-ahead to begin their work. - 2:30 PM: Two Orkin representatives arrived to install their traps. By this time, however; the contractors had finished up their work where Orkin was set to do theirs, and I had already stopped payment on my $1,700 check. Both Orkin installers were very nice and extremely apologetic. They were also completely unaware that they were suppose to be at my home first thing that morning. Why? Because they were never told. Prior to their departure, the two installers told me that they would have “Matt” (presumably a manager) get in touch with me regarding the events of the prior 24 hours. Matt never called. Brad did. - A couple of days later I had my home reinspected by a local company whose inspector has been on the job for 28+ years. Larry, the inspector, found NO termite activity anywhere in my home or garage. And at the time of the inspection, Larry was unaware of my experience with Orkin. Additionally, Larry the inspector was on time for his appointment (actually early), knowledgable, professional, and most importantly … honest. Orkin: F- Springer Pest Control: A+
