The representative call to schedule the first visit was pretty thorough and they were able to send someone out next day. The technician (?) who came out was personable and easy to talk to. The way he talked us through everything and added in some banter to make it all feel natural was nice, as someone who also performs a customer service role. We've gone with Griffin in the past, but will go with these folks for sure going forward.

Short answer: Large company that is as unhelpful as it is expensive. Long answer: we had bats and squirrels in our attic and walls. The sales person led us to believe we were getting a full coverage pest control guaranteed for 5 years that would cover all sorts of pests that enter the home. There was also mention of removing the bats from our side porch and that's why we went with Orkin over other companies even though it was quite a bit more expensive, however we paid $3k only for unnecessary, redundant ridge guard on our roof (we had our roof redone a month earlier trying to get rid of the bats and squirrels and the roofing company placed ridge guard for us then), despite the photo evidence of holes on our soffit were the squirrels were getting in. I had agreed to the ridge guard because I thought it had something to do with their warranty. The contract was bare bones and leaves them with control over what they will or will not do. They won't do anything else until we pay at least another $1.2k+. Every employee I have spoken with is entirely lovely and sounds empathetic, but they are ultimately unhelpful. There is nothing we can do to get our money back and 2 years later we still have squirrels and bats in the attic, walls, and porch. And now mice too! I'd recommend seeking out a different pest control company. Orkin has ultimately left us feeling a mix of confused, deceived, and helpless after taking several thousand dollars from us. Big company energy. EDIT: I have contacted your office at least 5 times over the past two years to no avail. Thank you for the customer care number.

We live in a very wooded area, and have been using Orkin for several years. Our technician, Chris, is always the same person, and he is extremely trustworthy. The company always sends a text two days before to remind me of the service, and then they follow up two hours before with a window. We have complete trust in the thoroughness and care that Chris takes with our property. I highly recommend Orkin in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area.

Kalamazoo- Jeff did a great job on the inspection and explaining how they would treat the issue. Tim and Brenden were also very patient and knowledgeable about answering all my questions. Brenden worked all day, and was very thorough! They did a great job, despite it being frozen outside! They deserve extra kudos. Customer service department was lacking and got my phone number wrong and I had to contact multiple people.

Not worth the money. First person came out. Was completely unprofessional. Sat down on my couch then stood on my deep freezer to try to look at a hole. Left 3 sticky traps and tried to sell me extra stuff. Second tech was better but nothing other than more sticky traps and snap traps were left. Terrible company

The inside inspection has always been good. The people doing the inspection have always been courteous and friendly. We had the inspector and trainee today. The only complaint is how much the rates have increased over the years of having the service. I know there will be increases but trying to justify continuing with it. The pricing noted was annually.

So far I am deeply unimpressed as a new customer. Communication is lacking, the customer call center did not quote me for the correct treatment, the technician that came to my property wasn’t even aware of that additional treatment. Getting any sort of follow up support has been difficult. They seem too short staffed to provide consistent care which is disappointing since I’ve heard such great things about this company and they have good reviews. Was also quoted $1500 for preventative sealing services of my house which seems extensive.
