Two guys came out and couldn’t have been nicer. They addressed the problem professionally and enthusiastically. Afterwards they showed me the work they did, finding numerous holes that mice could enter. Now the proof is in the pudding but I was very impressed with these guys.

I called after 6 last night, and spoke with Chad regarding a rodent issue. Chad was so helpful, answered all of my questions, and got me an appointment for this morning. Harvey showed up this morning and was just as helpful. Walked me through everything, placed traps, and sprayed around the house. Very happy with the service!

I had a team working at my house to remove and install new insulation in my attic due to many feces, most recently smelly raccoons. They worked during these last few extremely hot days of over 90 degrees outside and probably 120 degrees in the attic. The team was Joey and Kellan (KJ) and their regional manager Wes. They did a fabulous job and were the nicest people ever. They finished the job sooner than expected and worked so hard all while being pleasant human beings. I can highly recommend them. And I can’t forget DyLlon….he was the inspector that came to my house to assess the situation originally. He thoroughly went through my hot attic and climbed up on my roof taking photos to be able to show me what the situation was. I am very thankful that Orkin came to my rescue and for the fine work this team did.

Johnny, a technician, told me today that my request which a different technician promised me would be fulfilled, was refused by management. I had requested the MSDS sheets of the chemicals which would be applied to my property to kill pests, a copy of their business license, a copy of the applicators pesticide applicator license, and a copy of their business insurance. I do this all the time when I’m hiring a contractor to work on my home. But apparently the customer comes last at Orkin. I explained this procedure to Johnny, that these are simple requests which a prudent homeowner asks of a company BEFORE hiring them. But Johnny simply repeatedly regurgitated the same words, that this request was refused by management. So what does Orkin management have to hide? Did they not want to show you that they have a current business license? That they have a valid pesticide applicators license? That their company and applicators are insured? Documents with the safety concerns of the products they will be applying to your property? 5/2024 update: The nationwide call-center told me that they could spray my lawn for ground bees (which I requested because I have hundreds of nests). They told me this several times. Then the pesticide applicator called me and said they could not use spray on the lawn, but only on the exterior of the house. So I called the nationwide call-center back, and they told me yes they can spray the lawn for ground bees. Then I told the call-center what the applicator had told me, and they said they would call the applicator and discuss. Then the call center called me back and told me they cannot spray the lawn. Communication problem? Knowledge base problem? If you are a conscientious and concerned homeowner as I am, my suggestion is to STAY AWAY FROM ORKIN!!!!!!
