Yes, they came out and took care of our termite problem, so for that, thank you. Other than that, they sign you up for services that they don't act on. They are suppose to check the bait stations and do other inspections regularly to make sure there are no problems. I dont think anybody has inspected anything since the day they did the services. 1 bait station is broken, hasn't been fixed in almost a year when I originally reported it, baits haven't been changed and surely haven't even been inspected. Then I get a notice to renew my services for the next year, but I don't think I have received any services since they were out here a year ago. Not a very happy or pleased customer with how much money was spent on services that never received

The Orkin gentleman came today. He was friendly and asked if I'd had any problems. He not only spread pellets all around the house but pulled our stove out in the kitchen and and put "dust" behind it where we've recently seen ants. I'm very pleased with his work.

I have been Orkin's client for many years in two states and want to share my negative experience with Orkin in Cincinnati in the last two weeks. Johnny (inspector and salesman) inspected our home, including the attic, and we signed the contract for insulation, guard placement, and exclusion. We were promised that Johnny would perform the quality of the work at the end. Work started as scheduled; however, it took much longer than expected due to the slow-blowing module and the need for more communication between the supervisors and the technicians regarding all three job steps. From the beginning, I made it clear to the technicians and Johnny how important proper and prompt communication was for me during this project. Technicians did their job well with what they had and collected the payment after the first part of the job. When I asked when the quality check would be performed and that two more steps needed to be done, I was told that it probably would be in the next few days. Three days later, when nobody showed up or called, I contacted Johnny and heard that he just returned from vacation and was trying to catch up. I also got a voice message from Kimberly at customer service asking how my experience was. I contacted the department and said how unsatisfied with the whole process of communication and coordination I was, after which she sent an email to management and supervisors. We got our guards done right before that. When I asked technicians about the exclusion part of the job, the technicians had no answer for me since they were unaware of that. I contacted Johhny again and also replied to the customer service email about my next steps with Google and Yelp reviews, as well as BBB if necessary. Within 15 minutes, I got a call from the service manager, who was unaware of our situation and was not even a part of the email thread from customer service. It was Friday, and she dispatched the team for the exclusion part on Saturday. Johnny said he was unaware that the job was still incomplete since he does not get notifications from technicians. On top of everything, part of our ceiling was damaged by a footprint during the first part of the work at the attic, which was not unexpected (see the photo). One of the supervisors came to our home and looked at it, hoping that it would not require removing the damaged part and replacing it with the new section. He just pushed it back to the top part and left without communicating his next steps for repairing it. At this point, all three steps of the contract are done on Saturday; however, today is the end of Monday, and no quality check was performed, and I am still waiting to hear back from anyone with it. I do not recommend contracting Orkin for this type of service since once they sell you this service, they just forget about your account unless you push them every step of the way, and that is not how it should be done.

We had an issue this year with wasps and decided to use Orkin after multiple people getting stung and realizing that using store bought wasps spray just was not enough for the problem. They have been so helpful, the customer service is amazing, and I would recommend anyone to use this service.

Jacob was fantastic and educated me on Yellow Jackets! Said if I heard anymore noise from inside to give him a call he would come back out, otherwise he’d be back in 2 weeks to check everything out and spray around the entire house! My apartment sent Orkin to treat for bedbugs. This is a new problem to us, as we’ve lived here for years. We keep a clean home, little to no clutter around. We have next to no visitors. We rarely go anywhere other than to work. How we ended up with them, is beyond me. Orkin has been out here twice now for this problem. I believe they were thorough. They treated the beds in both bedrooms, even tho the problem was only in one bedroom. They treated the carpet in the whole place. They even treated our couch and area rug downstairs. Twice now, about two weeks apart. For about a week after treatment, we don’t see any live ones, and we don’t see bites. However, after a week, we end up seeing bites on us again. The small clusters of bites, so we know that’s what it is. Then shortly after we see the bites, we start seeing live ones out again. We have done everything Orkin has told us too. Washing and drying everything on super high heat… we’ve even threw some of our stuff out. We even got the super expensive bed bug proof mattress covers and pillowcases. It’s extremely disappointing that after 2 treatments, and countless loads of laundry, we are still seeing live ones and getting bit. This service is extremely expensive for it to not work. (No, the apartment wouldn’t cover it.) Not to mention the extra money being spent on the covers and the laundry mat…. I don’t blame the workers, because I do believe they were thorough. I blame whatever chemical they are using for treatment. It’s obviously not working. They need to update what products they are using so that it will actually be effective.

Orkin is the absolute best. I'm not good with names but I think his name was James or Jake. Very knowledgeable guy. Very polite and easy to talk to. Service was great and on time. Completely satisfied. 100% would recommend to everyone.
