Kayli was great!! She was so through. I just moved in a house that had been sitting empty for 2 years. She took down an active wasp nest and got rid of my spider webs and filled a hole around my air conditioner pipe so nothing could get in the house. So happy with this experience!

Explained what he was doing. How good that stuff would do. Is there anything else that I could that he could do for me? He was just fabulous so keep it up or you got a good one there

Appointment day came and the technician couldn’t have been nicer. He did his job very well. Very professional and personable. The wife and I couldn’t be happier with the service thus far. Thank you very much. Greg is definitely 5+ stars.

I would not recommend Orkin at all for bat issues. To begin, they just use fear tactics to scare you into excessive and unnecessary work. They try to sell you on the dangers of bat droppings to your health then every employee showed up with absolutely no personal protective equipment even to crawl around in an attic they claimed was full of bats and droppings. They initially sent an employee from a neighboring state for the inspection because they were understaffed and he was not knowledgeable about the laws in our state regarding the protection of bats and when they can legally perform an exclusion. This led to them sucking out half my insulation, stopping because they found live bats (duh, that’s why you were here) to call DNR and tell me they couldn’t proceed with the job until DNR cleared them to. The out of state employee said it would be a three day job and it turned into weeks. I made more calls and progress with DNR than any of their employees. They then filled in the half of the attic they sucked out with new insulation and when I asked how the bats that had infested the other side of the attic insulation would know not to go in the new insulation their solution was to put a tarp over it. This was a $10,000 job and these jokers wanted to cover the new insulation for weeks and expect it not to get infested too. Once they agreed to redo it they were supposed to disinfect the attic but they never took anything up in the attic that resembled the equipment that distributes the disinfectant. They lied to our faces. Then they charged me for new replacement vents on attic and they just stapled a crappy mesh screen over the opening and when questioned they claimed the vents were back ordered yet they never discussed that with me. The following year I began hearing bats in the wall in the same location I heard them the year prior. They tried to tell me it sounded like a bird even though the DNR employee and other pest control companies said it was definitely a bat. Fast forward ANOTHER year and I was hearing the same sounds in the same spot. They came out, made more excuses and put another cone up and said they would be back in the spring to remove it. They removed the cone and left steel wool to fill the hole instead of properly sealing it. I asked them to properly seal it, requested photos, and asked multiple times over two days for them to physically go in my attic to check that there is no sign of bats and that the cone worked yet they failed to go in the attic. If you put a cone up to get the bats out why would you not go in and confirm there are no signs of bats when you are ready to seal up the opening where the cone was? Bottom line, I would never recommend Orkin for bat exclusion. They are not educated on bats or the laws, I learned so much more about bats from a phone call with DNR than any of their employees could tell me. They suck at communicating, do half ass work, and straight up lie about the services they perform. I have never been so dissatisfied with a service than I have with them and they have had 2.5 years to make things right. If you find yourself with bats you are much better off doing your research online, speaking to DNR, and contacting a local pest control company that actually cares about doing a good job and ensuring their customer has peace of mind. If you go with Orkin for anything, even just bugs or mice, I would recommend being present for every service they claim to perform because I would not trust them at all to do what they say they are doing. Edited to add photos (that I had to ask my dad to take since they did not provide a photo of the area the cone was removed from as I had requested) .

Orkin knows their stuff and how to take care of their customers, especially when the situation becomes dicey. I’ve had a carpenter bee infestation for 3+ years- They were finally beginning to congregate towards my roof, and I knew something had to be done. Greg was absolutely fantastic!- I feel so good & confident in him and his expertise in finally eliminating the infestation! Yes, Orkin is on the pricey side, but getting it done right the first time around will save money in the long run. 100% recommend.
