DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! INSPECTOR Ben ? Did a termite inspection for a house we are buying. I met him there. He refuses to give me a copy of the report needed to close on the home. Now He is not answering his phone. Our house is scheduled to close in 2 days and without that inspection report we cannot close. The receptionist has no phone number or points of contact to the CEO or Owner of the Company. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with.

It's a given that Orkin does a great job, and they've done just that for me (mice, ants, mosquito control). But what's most important for me is that every Orkin employee that's been to my home has been super friendly and personable. Orkin must do their best to foster a good work culture, because it's rare I find so many quality people in one business.

I did not receive service. Please reschedule. The service tech did not ring the door bell, knock on the door or call when they arrived. They just sent a text that I didn't see until they had left. This has never happened before so please ring the door bell from now on.

The guys who do the actual work do great work. But response from management is atrocious. I've been told on three separate occasions that somebody would be out to finish the bat work I paid for over a year ago, and nobody has ever come. Nobody from management has ever confirmed. And I still have bats. Like I said, the workers are great. But the local manager will never actually check to make sure that promises are kept or that work actually gets done.

Three years ago we had a termite trap system installed. Installation went smoothly. The annual check of the traps has been more than disappointing. They just show up without notice even though I have requested multiple times to be notified in advance. The process to find the traps is basically "hope to stumble on them". They generally only find half and then do not promptly reinstall those they cannot locate. Disappointed in their service and performance so far. Oh, and the only way to contact the local office is to go through the national 800 number which is frustrating.

Answered all our questions patiently. Explained services well. Knowledgeable. Made service day easy. Far more flexible with contract variables to suit our particular situation than any other companies we considered. Also more economical without sacrificing value. I have asthma and chose to be outside until product used dried because I began to cough some. However, there is a myriad of info available out there to explain product’s interaction with humans and based on that most people would probably not feel it necessary to be outside. Caution: If using internet, check out the source of the info and pricing; truth is better than a lot of misinformation out there.

I just had a gentleman come for a routine termite inspection. He was really polite and professional. He paid a lot of attention to detail and made a point to tell me about the small amount of bat activity in my attic crawlspaces. I was happy that he told me about my bat removal options, but didn't push any extra services. I'm sure it helped that I had already escorted the adorable winged freeloader out of my house earlier this year. Still I appreciated the inspector's excellent customer service.

My mom had called orkin to come out to my house to exterminate mice. They came out and inspected the house and gave me a quote to get rid of them. It was a lot of money to spend on it but we needed the mice gone. We signed the contract and when they came out they sealed the house up but never got rid of the mice so they sealed them inside with me. It has been months and still with me putting out traps they are not gone. I would like a member of the corporate office to call me and tell me what they are going to do to fix this as this is just not good business. I have now lost food that I spent a lot of money on multiple times on. There was no help in that department either as they just chalked it up to sorry I cannot help you with that. If someone in corporate does not contact me in 48 hours, I will be contacting the BBB as this is not how you run a business and keep customers coming back. The Cedar Rapids office has my contact information to contact me.

My husband had orkin come out to help with a bat issue we have in a new home we purchased. I appreciated the way Kaelan (hopefully I didn’t butcher his name) explained (in detail) everything that they were going to work on for the day. Sure, this is expected of them. But, some of the techs will come out, be quick, then leave. Not even asking if we had any questions. This young man was very polite and made sure we did not have any questions or concerns when they were wrapping up. They seemed to care about their jobs and made the bat catchers look good. We didn’t want an eye sore on our roof! Thank you to kaelan importantly, & his partner. Glad to do business with this location.
