We have used orkin for 4 years now. The first couple years, they did a fantastic job - we had the same technician each time and he thoroughly addressed any new problems and prevented others. Within the past year or so, there has been a change where each time our house was serviced, there is a new technician - resulting in no consistency. Since this change, we have noticed a severe decline in the quality of service. In the last routine service in our house, Orkin said they noticed a high level of mouse activity. We trusted their recommendation and had our insulation replaced and ceiling panels sanitized. The crew arrived late, and because we had previously communicated that we needed them out of the house by a certain time, they rushed the job. Once the job was complete, I was walking around the basement and saw mouse droppings everywhere that fell from the ceiling panels that were not vacuumed, insulation pieces and dust layered on top of our furniture/work out equipment. Aftercare and clean up were all part of the job. After reaching out to Orkin several times, their service manager said their vacuum broke and he tried to clean up the mouse droppings "by hand". They offered no remedy to the situation, other than coming by weeks later to simply vacuum which I already did the next day. I will not be continuing our routine service with Orkin and would not recommend to our neighbors.

An abject failure of the objective. However, our technician, Jerry, is always polite and is very cooperative in trying different options and different chemicals to try to solve our problem.

I had their service for about 18 months but then had issues with scheduling; I cancel my appointment because the date didn't work for me but you showed up anyway, no notice they were on the way, things like that. Just restarted the service because of a lot of box-elder bugs. Tech was great, completed the service. But a few hours later, a second tech showed up unannounced, saying he was here to do a home inspection we didn't ask for. The second tech tried to let himself into my house and if I hadn't been standing there who knows what he would have done. I received no communication from Orkin about this second tech, nor did the first tech say anything, nor did I ask for a home inspection. I emailed the location alerting them of this and they basically just replied with "okay"; not even a "sorry for the inconvenience" or anything like that. They got lucky I came back and they send unidentified people to my home unannounced? For all I know the second tech was a serial killer saying he was with Orkin.
