My sister recommended them to me. I visited their website around 8:00 pm and they responded immediately. We scheduled the service, and they were excellent. The gentleman who came to my house, Mr. Sean, was very friendly and explained the entire process. This was my first visit, and I'm very satisfied with their service.

I called Orkin in the morning and they were at my home within 2 hours. My technician Sean W was amazing, he was very personable and accommodating. Th did the inside and outside of my home and was very thorough. He took care to listen to me and take care of every issue I had. He answered all my questions. Timothy has been great. He does our mosquito treatment outside and treats inside our home, too. We moved into a rental house 3 years ago with German roaches and have been at war ever since. He understands, and explains everything clearly, especially living here in FL with prime environments, in a lower income area… We tried another company for two years and hardly saw an improvement other than the initial ‘knock down’. Now, we rarely see them, and when we do, they’re either dead or affected by the powder (mutated/dried up). I can see the disruption in their ‘hatching pattern’, to say the least. Our mosquitoes are (almost) irrelevant (thanks neighbors). We’re throwing some consistent money at this issue and Orkin came recommended by a local friend. They’ve not disappointed yet, 1 yr. in. Thanks Orkin & Timothy for all your hard work!

Tiffany Lowery demonstrated exceptional service when she visited my residence for pest control. Unlike previous Orkin Pro agents, she thoroughly explained the pesticide's mechanism of action and the materials she would utilize to eliminate the pests. Although I felt that the initial inspection was thorough, I was told my guesthouse had no termite activity. This was later found to be untrue. I was assured by multiple Orkin employees that the treatment chemicals used were safe for humans and pets and only being used in the attic and behind the walls (Termidor & Boracare). However, during the attic treatment, I experienced a severe allergic reaction, including eye burning, throat tightness, muscle spasms, stomach pain, weakness, and headache. I had to leave my home mid-treatment and when I returned home around 7pm I began experiencing the same symptoms and made the decision to stay in a hotel overnight due to the intensity of the reaction. When I returned the following morning after my hotel stay, I discovered chemical solution on the ground and on some of my personal clothing, despite being told the treatment would only occur in walls and the attic (see photos). This is unacceptable. I spoke with the service area manager, Scott Enegren, a few days later and he was dismissive and simply DID NOT CARE. The following day someone came by to relocate a bait station, and when I explained my concerns and experience with the treatment he asked me if my A/C duct system was in my attic, to which I responded "yes". He told me that in the future I should turn off my A/C system during treatment and for a few hours following treatment — something I was never told, and which likely worsened my reaction as the chemicals circulated through my home. During the treatment of my attic, the technician wore a mask, but since I was at home working, I was breathing in the chemicals the entire time I was there. This is a huge oversight and had I known this, I would've turned off the a/c and avoided all this mess. I called Scott twice after finding this out, and he was away from his desk both times, and when I left a message with his office administrator, I never received a call back. I only heard back after I sent a formal complaint to Orkin Corporate.

Very disappointed and hung up after wasted 20min on the call listening to robot voice instead of REAL HUMAN talk to us and provide the information we needed. New customer and wanted to get pricing on pest control and not looking to deal with Robot on the phone.

I’ve been with Orkin for about 2 years and the service has been mostly fine. Unfortunately, twice now I have canceled services , but Orkin has sent someone out anyway. Most recently, I called twice yesterday, but either the phone disconnected or someone hung up on me both times. I replied to their text message stating please cancel and replied to their email asking it to be cancelled. instead, at 10 o’clock this morning, the representative showed up in my door. I was extremely sick, so my daughter answered and told him that I had canceled and I would call and reschedule. 10 minutes later we hear someone outside and it is the service rep spraying anyway. At this point, I was angry, so I got out of bed and asked him why he was spraying. He told me that his manager told him he was here and he should spray. I told him it was illegal to be on my spraying after I had asked him to leave (And Had cancelled the service). I asked him to stop immediately and to get off my property. . He is a kind man, so I explained to him, I was not angry at him because he was only doing as he was told by his manager, but what nerve Orkin has to have their rep spray my property when I had cancelled and told their rep to leave my property before he had even started spraying. This is not the first time either. They have also done the same thing to me previously and to my daughter as well. So..please beware of Orkin’s service practices. This is my experience with them and others may not have had this experience.
