Been with Orkin for 8 years or more. Had to cancel today because the service has sucked for last few months, the billing department tried to charge twice in a month on several occasions, one tech broke our fense door and had to replace, and now the schedule department has poor communication skills between them, the customers, and the tech. What's going on? Do you all sniff your chemicals to get high? You're going to lose many more customers if you continue these actions You lost me and I've been a long time customer

They came to do a full inspection the guy was here for 20 minutes and charged me an extra 50$ when I was due a 50$ discount They charged me 300$ and didn't find any of the gaps in the door seals that I found after they left There's no way you can do a full inspection in 20 minutes They rushed and didn't care to move things that were outside that my kids play on he just sprayed pesticides on everything I couldn't believe it. I also found a small space leading from the garage to outside where a mouse got in We had just bought the house and wanted to make sure everything was properly sealed and sprayed which it was not I would not recommend them to anyone your better off spraying a bug barrier yourself and getting some lawn spray to attach the the hose Even after they had sprayed we saw ants and had mosquitoes I had to spray after them to make sure my kids weren't getting bit. I requested a refund and they sent a check for the 50$ up charge for their month to month payment feature which I didn't ask for And have yet to get back to me about the rest that I feel like we're owed considering the inspection was not properly done.

Company staff is scared of bugs….go figure. Tried cancelling services and they are still billing me and showing up. Do not use them as they become a headache when cancelling

GOT WORSE. After the pest control came, we got more ants and I got an ant bite. Today ,Second time when the pest control guy came I asked him that, is it normal to get more ants after the pest control or something wrong. His answer was that how much amount ants we have gotten is not normal , but to have the dead ants is nominal.but I had not only dead ants I had active ants as well. He was telling me that check the patio door and make sure it is sealed well , it could be the reason to bring in these ants. I asked him that the patio door might be not sealed correctly and this could be the reason why I have so many ants. His answer was the apartment is brand new ,nothing wrong. He also statements that he is only working on ants. Pest control doesn’t include bugs. It was hard for me to understand what was his point . He was pretty upset and left. I just wanted to figure out the problem, previous pest control guy was very kind and knowledgeable explaining to me everything, and gave me instructions. Any questions I asked he answered very kindly. This new guy is not a bad person but needs to be more careful what he says. I felt he just doesn’t want to get in the trouble, could not answer the question honestly. I spoke with manager, he was pretty helpful. I hope this time, it won’t be get worse again after they sprayed.

I’m writing this review to recognize one very special team member at Orkin. His name is Mark Barnes. This gentleman is the true epitome of excellence. His work ethic is some of the best I come to experience. Mark goes above and beyond the call of duty, he is responsive, he is positive, he is knowledgeable, he is kind and considerate. He makes Wednesdays amazing for my team. He always has a smile and a “no problem attitude and only solutions”. I write to those in leadership, because you need to treasure and protect talent such as his. It is rare, very rare.
