I don’t really like having service people in the house. It’s not them. It’s me. I’m very particular and I hate people making a mess. I barely let my family over for the holidays. But Louis from Orkin? He can come over anytime. He’s the perfect combination of friendly, professional, diligent, and clean. He always asks if things need special attention to make sure we’re happy with the service, and we absolutely are.

Scott and Jack were very professional and kind during their visit to my parent’s house. Scott was also very thorough about explaining the process and the costs. I was having a really hard time finding a pest control company to service a remote mountain home. I’m glad I contacted Orkin, and impressed with Scott and Jack!

Orkin does a fine job at keeping bugs out of your house (which is what they are hired to do) but their policies and customer service is absolutely awful. I needed my house exterminated ONE time because we were having an issue with gnats this summer. The representative told me that I HAD to do three months in order for it to “work”. It made enough sense - first spray to kill them off and then 2 months of follow up to ensure that they’re gone. But then all of the sudden I started getting notifications that they were continuing to come once - sometimes twice - a month and being charged before they even came to the credit card I used for the initial spray. I of course called and another customer service rep told me that I signed up for a year of service which I would NEVER have done, and sent me some electronic signature I did stating so, which wasn't clear at all. I’m not fighting it because there is a possibility that I missed the fine print but I feel absolutely worked over and taken advantage of by this company. I begged them to cancel and they told me that they would charge me for the entire year at once if I did? Oh and 99% of the time they “service” the outside of my house when I am not able to be home and leave it up to me to schedule the inside without any notification or follow up (but still charge me the full amount with or without it happening). I don’t even see them or what they do while they are here and then they text me relentlessly to leave reviews. Do I still have a problem with bugs? No, I don’t think so. But the transaction itself feels utterly sneaky and uncomfortable. There has got to be more flexibility with services like this. I’d be way more likely to work with them again (or even ACTUALLY utilize an annual service if I needed it) if I felt like I wasn’t being screwed.

We have had Orkin take care of our house for a few years now. It started out as a positive experience but over time declined significantly. For several months now the service has been quite poor. They used to clean up the webs and treat for the small bugs that take up residence around the exterior ceiling lights and siding but have not done that for months now. We have reached out to Orkin but have not seen improvement. Most recently, the technician spent about 3-4 minutes walking around the house for a quick spray and then sat in his truck on the phone for about 10 minutes. Not sure why the decline but at this point we will be switching to a new service.

Great experience so far! They were able to squeeze me in next day and got rid of my wasp nest and sprayed to get rid of cluster flies that were coming in through my intake vent. They said it would probably take another spray to fully get rid of the flies but haven’t seen any since. Only been 3 days so will see if it lasts. Signed up for the recurring service and hopefully I continue to get Stefan, he was great!
