I just had my annual termite inspection with Orkin termite. I’ve had my Orkin termite insurance policy for over 30 years and have been extremely happy with the service. inspector David Garcia, who handles most of my inspections, could not be more thorough, professional, and knowledgeable! I love that, if he finds something, he has a technician out to quickly treat it, and, when the problem was in an inaccessible area that couldn’t be treated, he scheduled my house to be tented, all at no cost to me due to my termite insurance. I can’t recommend Orkin, Insurance more highly!

The rodent guys have left for today and will be back Thursday at 8 am to finish. They’re very competent and responsive and do good work. Orkin screwed up and the guy for the termite and bedbug inspections wasn’t on Orkin’s schedule. Unbelievable!!! I just talked the bedbug guy and we canceled that for now. I will do more treatments myself and hope that works as well this time as it did for an episode I had years ago. But the guy I talked to is going to make sure someone shows up to deal with the termites Thursday early and call me back verifying that. So far no call back from anyone at Orkin. I have to be at my periodontist re my surgery at 1 pm Thursday for sure! I’m pissed and I told your people so and will again! Obviously a stupid case of the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing!!! As the retired CEO of a public company your scheduling and keeping of appointments are the worst I've experienced in the 90 years I've lived so far. I hope you print this as a warning to new customers!!!

Be prepared to have to constantly call these “technicians” back weekly because your issue will not get solved. Orkin is not thorough, misdiagnoses pest problems, and will be very negligent to your pest issue. The other night, I saw what I was told was a mouse. Decided to give Orkin a call and their resolution were flimsy glue boards (“strategically placed”) that I could have purchased myself from the hardware store. Although the technicians were very nice, nothing was caught, and I continued to see the mouse. I began receiving emails about my next scheduled service, indicating that another payment would be due. I did not feel comfortable continuing to pay a company that did not yet catch one mouse after weeks and weeks and weeks. I feared that one mouse may have now turned into several mice and Orkin has yet to effectively address the issue. So, I decided to do some research and called a company that specialized in rodent control. Turns out, what I saw was actually a baby rat. Therefore, the flimsy glue boards (placed to catch mice) were never going to catch it. The rodent company came out and did a very detailed inspection and thoroughly and effectively resolved my issue by sealing all possible entry points into the home, attic, and crawlspace under my home. The rodent company also disinfected all areas where droppings were sighted (inside the home, the attic, and under the home), all of which Orkin failed to do. I canceled Orkin immediately after. Unfortunately, my money and time were waisted by purchasing this company’s services!

I’ve been using Orkin for the last six years. I have a little bungalow with a front and backyard. Orkin does a fantastic job, taking care of the inside, as well as the outside of the property. Every technician who’s ever provided service at my place has been beyond courteous, very well, mannered, knowledgeable about the products and punctual. They will even text me a reminder on the day before service. This kind of communication and quality service is so refreshing to find in LA. I highly recommend Orkin because they are everything I just mentioned and affordable!
