Orkin's Pest Control Solutions for Alabama Homeowners: Pricing and Services Detailed
Homeowners in Alabama seeking reliable pest control can find solace in Orkin’s comprehensive pest prevention plans and specialized services. With a reputation built on the expert application of the A.I.M.® solution—a cycle of assessment, implementation, and monitoring—Orkin stands ready to defend your home against a myriad of unwelcome critters. This detailed look into Orkin’s services, pricing, and guarantees offers a clear picture of what Alabama residents can expect when partnering with these pest control professionals.
Comprehensive Pest Prevention Plan
Orkin’s Pest Prevention Plan is a bulwark against the 13 most common household pests, tailored to disrupt their life cycles and keep them at bay. Regular visits every 60 days ensure a persistent defense for your Alabama home. Orkin technicians seal crevices and report in detail, offering a 100% money-back guarantee. With an initial fee ranging from $175 to $350, and monthly costs between $40 and $100, this plan is accessible for various home sizes and budgets. Plus, a current promotion slices $50 off the service.
Tailored Termite Treatment
Termite damage poses a significant risk, making Orkin’s free inspection a valuable first step. However, prices for termite services are provided post-inspection due to the variable nature of treatment requirements. Cost can fluctuate from $250 to $1000 annually, but rest assured, Orkin’s termite strategies, from liquid barriers to bait systems, are crafted for effective defense and peace of mind.
Mosquito Control Mastery
Orkin’s mosquito treatment combines source reduction with chemical interventions, aiming to eliminate breeding grounds and adult populations. The cost varies by home size and location, with monthly services ranging from $25 to $80. Seasonal adjustments account for the regional climate, offering targeted treatment when and where it’s needed most.
Rodent Control Included
The Pest Prevention Plan incorporates treatment for mice and rats—no additional charges for these common nuisances. OrkinShield® Rodent Service ensures your home remains rodent-free as part of your regular pest control regimen.
Battling Bed Bugs
Orkin’s inspection for bed bugs, while not complimentary, is a critical step toward creating a potent treatment plan. With inspection fees starting between $95 and $116, which are credited toward treatment costs, Orkin prides itself on thorough elimination strategies that include OrkinHeat® and vigilant monitoring.
Stinging Insect Solutions
For bees, wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets, Orkin offers expert identification and removal services. Safe nest removal and preventive measures are part of a custom action plan to ensure your home remains sting-free. Prices for one-time treatments average around $300, ensuring a comprehensive and safe solution.
Flea Frustration Fix
Tackling fleas demands a professional approach, and Orkin’s methodology includes inspection, treatment, and advice for ongoing prevention. Cost for a one-time flea treatment generally falls between $250 and $300, a small price for the relief of a flea-free home.
Jack gave us a home inspection for pest control. He was very thorough, taking time to fully inspect the house - inside, outside, the crawl space and the attic. I had lots of follow up questions in order to make the best decision and he researched the answers and provided me with a complete report. Jack was professional, patient, and thorough and provided excellent service.

I'll be honest- I had a rather negative experience with Orkin this year. I've used them in the past and I will always vouch for their ability to resolve pest issues. (Partially biased to Peter as a technician- he always does such a wonderful job when I see him) This most recent time using their company, I was met with an email from their previous office manager telling me that there was an issue with my funds and they never received my payment despite my end reflecting that I had paid them, the charge posted, and my money was theirs. I called multiple times to verify that they still did not have my money before I reached out to my bank to dispute the charge and resubmit payment to Orkin. In the usual 'something seems to be up' fashion, as soon as I filed said dispute and called to pay them again, I was told that they did in fact have my original payment. While this lead to a whirlwind of headaches on my end going back and forth with the office and my bank, I was most recently contacted by Jesse, their new office manager. Jesse explained everything in order to me, including that their previous office manager was no longer with the company due to issues such as this. Truthfully, I initially wanted to call their franchise manager, leave negative reviews, write a few emails as high up as possible for a customer. After speaking with Jesse, I can say with confidence that I am reassured that this issue is finally resolved. She's doing a wonderful job and above all else I appreciate her honesty with me as a customer.

Bernard was fantastic! He actually listened to me and did what I needed. Great customer service and great with my English Bulldog, Munch. He was not nervous at all around him, which let Munch relax.

Bernard stopped by today to treat our house, and he did a fantastic job! It was truly a great experience when I had been nervous, as this was our first treatment with Orkin. Absolutely incredible service!

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. If I could give negative stars I would, this has been THE WORST experience of my life with this company and I’m am beyond shocked they have so many good reviews.
We initially got a 5 year contract with Orkin for termite traps and injection. I was sold on the products with the impression that the work can be done. They came out, set the traps, SUPPOSEDLY did the injection all around the house. Come to find out 9months later due to an audit that they NEVER treated the back patio area of our home. There was ZERO communication about it, an Orkin employee (I didnt know who he was because they didn’t tell us he was going over) showed up when we weren’t home, the only reason why I knew he was there was through the cameras, proceeds to enter the backyard without permission through my closed gate and I see him taking pictures of our patio area. I get home and asked him what he was doing there and he said and I quote “Oh I’m here just to check on the traps and work ”. Okay cool, thought was a lil strange he was “checking on the work” 9 months later but I know pest control companies sometimes do check ups on the traps or what have you. The next day we get a phone call and they told us that they got an audit and they never treated the back patio area. Mind you this is 9 months later from our initial contract date. They told us they couldn’t get access to the area & would need us to rip our boards up in order to inject the treatment, yeah you read that right. Obviously we told them we weren’t going to rip our deck because why would we? They sold us a service with the impression it could get done. After some back and forth they were gonna get back to us to see what they could do… 2 months go by with ZERO communication from them we had to be the ones to keep calling them to follow up and still no one got back us. Finally we get one the phone this guy Eric who I guess is there new termite guy and said he would come out and take a look himself, he did, he seemed like a nice guy but I’m sorry just as disappointing as the rest because after we talked about everything that day I asked him what our options would be and IF we decided we didn’t want to rip the boards up what would we do. He told me worse case scenerio they would drop us from our contract. Mind you I didn't say we wouldn’t do it I just wanted to know all the possibilities so we knew what to do from there. He said he would call us back when he spoke to his branch manager about the situation. 2 WEEKS go by without any follow up , shocker, and today I see on our cameras Orkin removing our traps. Called Orkin to see what was going on and apparently they “mailed” a letter stating they dropped us and that was their way of communicating to us the news. Never received it obviously cause I wouldn’t be calling them shocked that I saw them removing our traps. We are extremely pissed off with everything because for 1 we have a wooden house and termite season is coming up, 2 we never received a follow up call since Eric went out there and were not given the opportunity to decide for ourselves to rip the deck up because guess what if that was our ONLY option then we ‘d figure it out because again we needed the service WE HAVE A WOODEN HOME we never wanted to be dropped we just wanted to know all options. So aside from them coming out 9 months later telling us it was never done we had to immediately schedule another company to come out here to inspect and put traps down for us, if they tell us there is damage or an infestation on our back patio area you can only guess what’s gonna happen next.

Eric was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment he arrived, he was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything he was doing, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. You can truly tell he cares about doing the job right and not just rushing through it. I was worried about something I found in my home, and he immediately put my mind at ease. My home already feels so much better, and I have complete confidence in his work. If I could give 20 reviews, I would! ERIC IS THE BEST—this is a real and honest review! If you’re looking for top-tier service, Eric is your guy. Highly recommend!

had the pleasure of working with Michael from Orkin, and I can’t say enough about the outstanding service he provided. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, kind, and very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and explained the process in a way that made me feel comfortable and confident. It’s rare these days to find someone who genuinely cares about their work and their customers, and Michael truly exceeded my expectations. I really appreciate the effort and excellent service he gave, thank you, Michael, for making the experience such a positive one!
