“Had a one-year contract on an apartment complex to get rid of serious problem with ants. Started with a September 2012 spraying. Sent them a letter canceling the automatic renewal in August. Just received a bill for September. When I called they said they had not received letter. I also sent a copy of letter to Pasadena billing office. The San Diego De Soto office says if the Pasadena office had received they would have forwarded. They will do all sort of tricks to keep you from canceling. Terrible company!”

“DO NOT USE DEWEY PEST CONTROL. They will quote you one price and them try and charge you double the price once they show up to complete the job. I have heard the same thing from several other tenants of mine who called them. These people are shady, STAY AWAY!”

“If I could post zero stars, I would. Worst possible company you could ever deal with on the entire planet. They charge you for spraying the front and back yard, even though they may only spray the front. Then when you go to cancel because they don't do what they say, they refuse to cancel you, and continue to harass you by telephone to set up the next appointment for months on end. After 10+ phone calls to us, requesting to set up the next appointment and my wife reminding them that we cancelled, the guy on the other end of the phone says "oh yeah, I think I remember that this is supposed to be cancelled".....and then they showed up anyway a week later when we weren't home and supposedly sprayed the front yard (without our permission)! It's been 3 months since we first cancelled with them, and they're still calling and showing up. Don't sign up with Dewey - you'll never be able to get rid of them.”
