“I called Albemarle Termite and Pest Control because I was concerned I might have termites. A door at my townhouse had shavings under it. Greg came out to see it and said it was his belief ants had eaten the door. He then said he b window and said he looked believed termites had damaged the window. he looked under the crawl space and found termite activity. At this point I was ready to sign a contract with Albemarle Termite and Pest Control on the spot but clearly this was too straightforward. Greg said because I live in a complex with two other town houses, he would need to check under those homes too for termites. I suggested he talked to the neighbors which he did promptly. He informed me they already had pest control contracts and didn't need him to look under their properties. I told him I would like him to do an inspection and work on my property but he said it would make sense for me to find out who their contractor was and use them instead, a difficult task as I we don;t talk. He then said Albemarle Termite and Pest Control would not be prepared to treat my property because termites might migrate to the neighbors' property and it could cause issues. The more I think about this the more weird the notion of a termite control company not wanting to treat termites because they might run off becomes This is a shame because it seemed like Greg would do a decent job if he decided to actually treat termites which is why I gave two stars as opposed to one. Off to call Orkin.”
