I own a few rental homes in the area of Palestine, Texas, and my tenants at one of the houses were complaining that the roaches kept returning so I decided to get rid of them once and for all. I had experience with Terminix once before, so I knew exactly who to call and I did. All of those bugs are dead now and nobody has to see them sneaking around when they get up in the middle of the night or come home from wherever. I hate bugs inside the home.

Terminix out of Palestine is the worst company to use for this type service. We had a technician come out that was running late and called my wife to cancel and it was very rude over the phone and was sure to let her know that our house was not on his route and that he shouldn’t be having to come out to your house. They signed a contract and they were supposed to come out to our house every three months. They’re really good about debiting our credit card on time, but they don’t come out in a timely manner as the contract specifies. We had to constantly call them and ask them to come out. But on this day, they sent a guy from another area and when he got out of his truck, he already had a bad attitude and talk to me in a degrading way because he was irritated to be coming to our house when it wasn’t his account. He refused to do both dwelling on our property, even though we pay for both. I asked him to call his boss so that I could have his boss explain to him that we pay for both dwellings and they always spray both dwellings. He then got irritated and put his finger in my face and told me that he was 51 years old and that he would put me on the ground. Again, ask him to call his supervisor. He did call his supervisor, but only to tell him that he was not going to service our house and lied to him about the reason he wasn’t going to do our house. So I asked him to please leave our property because he was screaming and hollering at me even even the neighbors across the street hurd him. After he left, I tried to call the supervisor and I also texted the supervisor knowing that he had his phone on him because he just spoke to the technician. The supervisor didn’t answer my phone call and didn’t answer my text. This is not the first time the supervisor is very unreliable. Because he himself came out and sold as their service to put a perimeter around our house and demanded that I pay for it upfront with my credit card but then they never came out as scheduled so I came to that service as well.

Terminix has been there for me and my home for more than 25+ years total. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the technicians are knowledgeable. I feel protected knowing Terminix has my back :)))

Lying branches and useless corporate The branch in Palestine Tx happily took our money back in Feb to do a lot of work at a rental property. We live 2 hours away and trusted the house hold brand to honor the contract and do their job, especially when we got an email saying the work was complete. Lo and behold, we get there sometime later, and NONE of it was done. We had Terminix send out their own inspector who confirmed none of the work was done as well. So now we are in June telling corporate about this, and asking them to start the 1 year warranty WHEN THEY ACTUALLY DO THE JOB. Corp says no, the warranty starts at the contract date. Michael, the manager at the branch in Palestine Texas, was supposed to call us 4 times at this point and explain why his employee committed fraud and put them in breach of contract. It is now July, and we STILL have not heard back from him, nor has the work been completed or our money been refunded despite our demands. On top of this, we were told by customer service that the regional customer service person was supposed to reach out to us last month--guess what? Nothing. We haven't heard crap from anyone at Terminix corporate. They have stolen our money and committed fraud by saying the work was complete. Do not under any circumstances us this brand for any reason. Their corporate offices are completely useless and will do nothing to help you. They cannot offer refunds or supersede the local branches, even though they said they are not franchises.

I have been beyond blessed to have Jarrod Vaughan with Terminix come to my home with pretty extensive work required. Jarrod is a very honest and caring person. He expects only the best for his customers. If he finds work not done correctly, he corrects it being very honest about it. If he tells you something it will be taken care of, you can trust it will be done. I can't say enough about him. He is a great guy that you know gets the job done in the right way. He is one of the Stand Out guys!! These kind of guys are far and few between. I am so blessed and thankful I was one of the customers to get him!!!!
