We had a complete attic remediation due to rodent activity in our 100-year-old-home. Lawrence and his crew did an amazing job sealing all potential rodent entry points in the attic and even our foundation. They completely replaced the insulation and sanitized the space. The work was quick and thorough. Also, very impressed with John, who does our quarterly pest control. He quickly identified potential issues due to the nature of our house and the season of year. Very knowledgeable!

I had a terrible experience with this company so I am warning others to avoid the headache. I am glad I kept text messages because the gaslighting with them is so strong that they make you confused. It is a long story. Tldr: they lie to get you to sign up, don't provide the service requested and then you are left with time wasted and scrambling to get your money back and find someone that can provide the service you expected Terminix to provide. Luckily I found Orkin which came to the rescue yesterday and performed the service. Long version: I contacted them on 4/11 to inquire about their services. I sent a message through Google and explained I wanted the service for house flies and also needed to know if the service had a contract. I received a text back explaining the service, costs and I was told it was a monthly subscription without a contract. It also said the pests they include in their pest control, which included cluster flies. I asked a second time to be 100% sure, if cluster flies meant house flies, and repeated again that this was the main reason why I needed pest control. I was told yes. I again asked "if I want to cancel at any time can I do it and will I owe anything?" and I was told "correct, this is why it's billed monthly". So everything sounded good, I proceeded to pay and schedule my services. 4/15 was the day for my appointment. The technician arrived as scheduled and as soon as I mentioned my problem was with flies he said he had to consult with his supervisor to see if they had something to treat flies. He went to his truck and came back like 30 minutes later to tell me they don't have anything for flies, that they treat pests in general and that "may help me, but will not necessarily will". I was confused because I asked this several times and made it very clear that this is what I needed. He just told me he doesn't know why the person on the phone told me they treated flies, because that is not correct. So after back and forth I told him if he could still treat the area since what he has "may help me", with me understanding that it may not work, but if that were the case I could just find a different company afterwards, since I already paid for that visit. This is when he informed me that their service has a 1 year contract and he would give me documents to sign accepting this. I was again surprised and mentioned how I was told several times that the service had no contract, he again said he did not know why I was told this, but he was just giving me the correct information. So at that point I decided to not continue, I already took time out of my day and from my job to be available for this visit just so my time would be wasted. So he left, and I called customer service to request my refund. Had to talk to 3 reps in order to get refunded, because they also said I didn't pay. Luckily after wasting my whole morning with Terminix, I was able to call Orkin which sent a technician right away and completed the service yesterday. I never got clarification why the employee on the phone lied, so it seems this is a common or expected occurrence with this company. 0/10 do not recommend. Attached are the texts with the information I got that was told later it was all lies.

Just moved into a new home and there were a number of wasp nests stuck under my eaves. Terminix sent out Michael Knight to treat my home inside and out. He was very expedient and thorough. UPDATE: Poor Coordination! I had set up an appointment to have my attic inspected for rats. Terminix sent Eric Johnson. He and I climbed into my attic and he showed me there was clear evidence that rats had been living in there. We arranged to have entry ways sealed from the exterior, rodents trapped, and the attic sanitized. I expected to receive a phone call confirming when the services would be done. I did not get a phone call. They randomly showed up on a Wednesday while I was at work and sealed the exterior of the house. Eric Johnson called me after the men left to apologize. Over the phone we set up to have the attic serviced that Friday. Terminix never came. I was home all day. It’s now Monday and Terminix sent someone to my house and I’m at work.
